New B-Dubs Shops

Outback has new menus.. and they have a skillet cookie with ice cream and stuff too now.. I didn't get one.

I almost talked myself into a cheesecake though.. Something wasn't right with the food and I decided against it. I've never had a steakhouse salad that tasted like that, and I couldn't tell if the problem was the steak or the salad or the salad dressing. It was not Outback's best example of food or service today.

I've had the cheesecake at Outback before. Nothing special, but it's still pretty tasty. Sometimes they include a smaller slice as an option with one of their meal deals.
As for not being allowed to use rewards, I don't think that's an issue considering they will allow us to purchase the Pick 6 promo. Then you can always add the rewards points later on. I figure the rewards can be used for a non-shop visit.

I'm not quite sure why they might ID you as a shopper if you try to use rewards. I figure there are just as many regulars out there who have around 5K points (like me), or possibly more if they frequent the place on a regular basis. Any other thoughts about this?

Not being able to use rewards excludes redeeming the BOGO traditional wings night coupon. If you don't normally choose Tuesday for this deal, then it probably doesn't matter to you.

Some of us will choose Tuesday then bring a guest or 3, order a pile of wings, order some sides to share with our rewards points, and drink $4 beers. This is revealing us as regulars, not shoppers. Unless they have a way now to flag you.

I heard back from the MSC. They said we can earn reward points, but we can't use them. The guidelines also say to bring just one guest, so going with the Pick 6 should cover the basic requirements and keep you around the $30 mark. I normally do these shops through the "many men" MSC, and the requirements for this one are similar apart from a few more required photos (exterior of the restaurant and your drink in addition to your entrees) and not allowing you to use points.
They should update their instrx to show you can tell server about your account and add the points, but NOT redeem ANY rewards.

The too many men MSC specifically asked if the server mentioned (asked about) the rewards account. Funny how this new MSC wants to shy away from that.

i would go only on tuesdays with the 5g msc because of the bogo REAL wings (not nuggets on thursday).
Anyone know if BWA is still with the many guys MSC? I didn't see it posted for this month.

I asked about that and they said do NOT give your rewards number during the shop, they claim it reveals you as a shopper. I asked if my guest can give their rewards number. No response.

I'm adding my receipt to my account later.

First they said you could bring a guest but they had to be on a separate check. Then they said a guest could be on your check and pick 6 is ok. Then they said, "Bring the kids!" when the shops weren't getting filled...

Still waiting for "rewards OK".

Either they are on a trial basis with the new msc or they cut the program substantially. But no, I don't think any are on the old one.
Dry Rub? The best is the vampire slayer sauce (not on menu). I like the mango habanero too.
You don't need approval to earn rewards, you have to NOT have your membership number added to your check. You can scan the QR code to get your points when you're done.
I agree with @Morledzep . It specifically states "Buffalo Wild Wings has a rewards program. These can NOT be used during your mystery shop as it may reveal you as a shopper."

DURING is the key word. It does not say you cannot add them to your account after the fact.
Anyone do the BWW GO (takeout) shop scenario? It's not close to me, but it appears to be a takeout only location that I am passing on the way to something else. There is a bonus so I grabbed it.

I know with the outoftouch company you can't use rewards while dining in, but can you use them for online order with pickup? I guess I can read the guidelines, but I am assuming they do not put much thought into things and it's just easier to say NO to using rewards for all scenarios. However, if you have to place an online order, you would have an account, so it would make sense you would be a rewards member. I'm hoping I can use them.

Just asking in advance here.

I did. Didn't get any pushback on it.
I did a To Go only location. The combo for 2 people worked quite well.

Shopping South Jersey, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Delaware above the canal since 2008
@myst4au

thanks, but you didn't address my question. I was asking if there was anything in the guidelines about not using rewards for the "to go" online order. @Deedeezthoughts seemed to use it without an issue. I was just curious if they specified.

I think someone bailed because mine had a bonus.qs.well. I read the whole thing determined.to succeed unlike the first shopper. There.was nothing saying I couldn't use points. We got a PILE of food and I went $1 and change over reimbursement, put the bulk of my bonus in my pocket. The location was conveniently located near a compliance visit I'd grabbed so I got free case of beer to go with our wings extravaganza. A very good shopping day for me!
What are people seeing as the average "edit" time with BWW now at the new place? I have one from nearly a week ago that has not been edited. Obviously the 5g msc did not take this long to edit the shops.

I'm curious to what people are seeing and what the expectation is for these.

Variable but mine have all been approved between a day and a week after completion. Definitely longer than the previous msc but they pay more often so that's nice.
I have done a few of these and actually I shop them for two different companies. One is the new company, the other is on Gigspot. But have never seen the burger guys MSC have it.
I saw one of these "wings" shops on Presto, with an 8 hour window, but the day part rules remain the same.
