QUESTION ABOUT SONIC

Hello and good evening. I was hoping to get some help with a Sonic shop rule. I see where we’re supposed to order the Sonic Smashers when we order.

If you’re doing a shop during breakfast hours, is that rule just ignored?

Is there a breakfast smasher?

What if they don’t have that item...what is the substitute sandwich for breakfast???

Until a specific date towards the end of this month, no matter what time you go, you have to order the $6 smasher meal, fries or tots, and a soft drink.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

I just did one of these. The location didn't offer the $6 smasher only the double or triple. I hope it gets accepted -- I took a picture of the menu board and I asked the employee when I placed the order.

I found the $6 meal isn’t listed on the menu board, but it does show up on the tv screen, rotating between other items on the screen. But if it’s a sunny day I can’t see anything on the tv screen.

When I went in late January, they had promo signs hanging and it was on their website but it wasn't on the menu screen. I asked if they had the $6 smasher meal and they did but I guess only for those who ask or order online? I haven't been back to see if it's listed now. It wasn't required for the scenario I did but it was considerably cheaper to get that than a double meal so I could do much more with the side/drink and stay within reimbursement.

I would love to do this shop, but if I remember right you have to take 3 or 4 pictures of the building plus the dumpster area .. Unless they have changed it

The one I did had photos that could be taken from your vehicle driving in and out. I didn't need an assistant nor have to exit the vehicle or make a second lap to achieve it.

Deedeezthoughts- I have done several of these and about half of them requite parking in an adjacent parking lot or across the street in order to obtain a photo of the main sign on top of the building.

They have the sign at street level here. Probably a city ordinance keeps them from putting it on top?

My Sonics have 2 signs- one on the street and one on top of the building (the MAIN sign). I once submitted a photo of a street signe and it was not accepted. Granted- many areas have local sign ordinances so it may be that your area onely has the one sign.

They cut the payments, added more pictures and you can only do the shops after 7pm. At 72, maybe I'm just getting old and don't like nighttime shops.

Johnb- it appears the March shops are daytime shops- at least the ones I can see. I have done quite a few but I wait until there is at least $12.00 bonus. The more you do, the easier they get.

The after dark shops are less popular where I am, I think a lot of people feel this way. They often get bonuses.
