Sadness.....

When you see a decently paying shop with a company that you know you won't have to chase payment from, the reports aren't crazy and they actually answer questions when needed BUT you don't qualify for the shop.....
Sadness.....
And every time I log in I see soooooooooo many of these shops, and have to scroll right past them.

Anyone else feel my pain?! Lol

Why don’t you qualify? You weren’t nasty to them were you, Viv?
I'm not nasty to anyone.

My credit score is too high and I have zero debt.

I am by no means wealthy but I do not qualify for many shops like viv0412. High credit score- no debts. I cannot do most oil changes becasue I drive a luxury car. and I am too old for the alcohol compliance shops sad smiley.
And *I* am not a member of a certain Auto Club. Nor do I eat pizza with pepperoni.
Good choice. I gave in for the free food two days ago - in a dying mall where I was the ONLY customer in the food court and had to 'discreetly' take photos of each of the glass cases.....

Shopping domestic and international locations since 2003.
Oh yes, the highly bonused movie/alcohol compliance shops, I am too old. My credit score is too high. I encouraged my son who has no credit to do one of those shops but he has not. At one point, they were paying $150.

Oil changes and tire rotations are a no because I literally just got my car 2 months ago. Can only imagine the weird looks I would get there.

the one time I could have done the triple A shop was when my daughter was in an accident but she was on the side of the road crying to the police and who has time to think about doing a mystery shop at that time.
I get a kick out of the shop emails - "It pays to have low credit!" Or something like that. No. Not in the long run.
I took my husbands car for an oil change when it was only a thousand miles past the previous one. (It was the shop where you had to do two and my car REALLY needed one)
I told them we were getting ready to do a cross country road trip and I would feel better having a fresh oil change and making sure everything was set to go. The guy agreed with me and commented that old saying 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'...

For a while I was in the "middle aged dead zone"- too old for compliance shops, too young for assisted living shops.
As with several other posters, both my age and score have reduced the work for which I qualify. After adding the existence of MSC conglomerates, dining no longer being of interest, the companies with whom I am no longer contracted and fee reductions, my shopping has been almost, but not completely, restricted to the defrayment of travel expenses.
Oh Frugal- Thanks for reminding me, I defintely qualify for the Medicare and assisted living shops!
too young for assisted living shops.
Oh yes Frugal. I can't do those because Spring 2024 Husband & I interviewed every assisted living /skilled nursing place within 45 minutes of our house for real for his Mom.
