The Waiting Game

For shops that give you the option of completing it and getting partial pay after 15+ minutes of waiting for assistance, do you continue to wait for the full pay or leave after a certain amount of time has passed?

With the amount of payment that is generally involved, I would not wait any longer than needed.
It's never come up but I think it would be a matter of me looking at the situation and whether I believe they'll be available any moment or it's going to be forever.
And the difference in partial vs full pay matters, too. Sometimes partial isn't even covering the gas much less my time but full pay includes a fat bonus? More patient for that
It was $16 with a $6 bonus, but also there was about 15 or so people waiting before me.

For $22 vs. $1 I would probably wait a little longer. And I would not bother to report it at all if I couldn't complete the shop. I'd change the date or get an extension, and do the shop when they are less busy.
Rescheduling is a good idea. I hadn't thought about that. But I believe tomorrow is the last day for it to be done and I already have a merchandising assignment lined up with some other things, so today was the perfect day for me to do it.

I'm getting $5 and the $6 bonus. So I'm not too bummed. Next time if it doesn't seem like it will be that long of a wait and I have the time, I might stick around.
qveen,

I can almost guarantee that if the total pay is only $22 still, it's NOT the last day. It may be the last day for that Pay $$, and if it isn't done the pay will go up. You are NOT obligated to fill their quotas. Don't get caught up in that "it's the last day" lie, because it really is a lie. They will increase the pay and give it another 3 days. Probably at least 2 more times. When they increase the pay and only give you ONE day to get it done is when the round is over and they need to meet their quota to complete their contract.
