Buffalo Wild Wings- Beverage requirement

The guidelines for these shops say that for over 21 they prefer an alcoholic drink purchase. Has anyone here over 21 done this shop and not purchased alcohol? Just checking before I decide to try one of the shops.

I have a number of times and it is never a problem. I generally do pick 6 which includes a beverage each. I don't always want another beverage.
"I generally do pick 6 which includes a beverage each."
This fulfills the requirement to order a drink?
I thought we had to order one item with wings, one item with whatever is on the short list, plus one beverage.
I’ve done this before and they accepted it. I even did the Pick 6. They only need photos of one wing order, one side order, and one drink.

Pick 6 fulfills all order requirements as long as at least one person gets sauced wings. Your tots/fries/wedges/rings are your second item.. Then, you can choose to spend the rest of the budget on dessert if you want

I do not like the new MSC. I would rather have it be done by the 5g MSC. Less hassle and can use your BWW account for the true BOGO on tuesdays instead of the inflated prices.
I don't like the new setup because I'm too old. Did the 5G gig have the age limit?

Have synthesizers, will travel...

What age limit? Bar compliance/integrity is the only task I know of with an age range and that's a different msc???

Same.

The whole "don't use your rewards account" is absurd, the lie they are dishing about the reason you can't is outrageous. If it were actually true that a rewards account reveals us as a shopper somehow, they wouldn't mind if our guest uses their rewards account.

What they are actually hoping for, I think, is reducing costs for the program overall. One way is not giving points for shops. They don't have a way to prevent that so instead they make it a hassle.

And they keep changing their minds so maybe it changes eventually if they struggle to fill. First, it was "if you bring a guest, they must be on a separate check". This was a pretty blatant attempt to pay less than full reimbursement. Then it was OK, you can have ONE guest on your check and pick 6 is allowed. Now they are saying "bring the kids". I guess they decided the $30 (that you are giving back to the client!) is needed to attract some of the regular shoppers.
@Deedeezthoughts

So you are saying they are "out of touch" :-P

The scheduler says that we can earn rewards, we just can't redeem them on the shops.
I like to do the to-go locations. Much easier. I just evaluate the food on a large cutting board in my car, order at the next place and do the same, and then eat the food at home when I feel like it. And lots of leftovers!
@mjt9598....so you mean you can add the purchase to your rewards account AFTER you leave. I'm not disputing that. The point of the rewards account is to get the TRUE BOGO on Tuesday wings. The 15 count wings is like $23. I want 30 wings for that $23. You cannot use your account during your visit for their reasons they think it will identify you as a shopper.

Just like Panda Express. You could add the purchase points later. That was never a problem. But the price of the food is not dependent on whether you have the account or not. A 2 item plate is the same price with or without the account. At BWW on tuesday, the wings are cheaper if you have the account. That is what bothers me (and some others).
I did this shop for the 5G MSC last month so I'm still out of rotation. Is the consensus that it has completely switched over to the MSC with all the specific requirements and no rewards rule?

Me too.
I did one at the bar a few months ago and got a burger (quite good). Mine was the
look for stealing' scenario though.
