I have an inkling my TRH knows I'm their shopper

I have been shopping my local TRH for about 2 years now. I seem to have access every 90 days. I also just recently picked up a few TRH when I travel. I've been to 4 TRH in total now. The difference in service between the shops is noticeable. The one by my house I feel rolls out the red carpet for me. I mostly do the bar shops where they ask your name, and the last few shops they recall my name without asking. Even the runner who brought my food said "I remember you" when he brought my meal. I dunno for sure, of course, and I try to observe how other diners are treated/whether all the service "marks" are hit, and there doesn't seem to be much difference, but I just feel like maybe we are playing a game here. They know I'm their shopper, want to get good scores, so they do what's necessary. I can't out myself so I just play along. Meanwhile, the other locations hardly ever hit their service marks (the ones we check on the form). To be fair, I don't visit the others multiple times a year, so maybe the bar staff just tries to remember repeat customers' names. The bartender said something to the effect she has a good memory for people's names. But the food runner?...So what do you guys think? Is there enough info in our shops that I could be called out even though I try to keep them vague and not be memorable? Does the local staff and management see the reports so they can look at video? Is what I'm doing (not sure if I'm made but still shopping the location) wrong?

Do they always ask you if you are interested in buying TRH gift cards but don't ask others the same question?

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
I have the opposite. My last visit there was so bad, the waiter didn't greet us for 8 minutes, the food came out late on all of their timings. I guess they don't know I am a shopper at all.

Maybe that location is just really good at their job? Are they always super busy? My location seems to have a high turnover rate. I rarely see the same people there. Have never seen the same manager twice either.

A food runner is not going to know your name after a few visits per year.
More than an inkling for me.

I did a bar shop at a location and *SHOPPER* followed my name on the receipt. I'm guessing I was staring at the name tag for too long.

MSC still accepted the report, but they banned me from that location for quite some time.

They sure made it obvious, didn't they? I keep thinking that places must know and then they do something so foolish that I decide they don't after all.
Mine figured out the first time I went lol. had managers coming to spy on me to verify then introduce theirselves.
Just to clarify, the runner didn't know my name, he just said something like "I remember you". There is not a lot of turnover, always same people and managers working whenever I go (even though I switch up days & hours). And the bartender asked everyone in the area about GC, specific drinks, apps, etc. That's why I'm not totally sure.
I think one of my Five Guys has outed me. They always run clean the restroom as soon as I sit down after ordering, clean the dining room, and the manager stops by to say Hello. As you say, we are playing a game. If they don't mess with me, I don't mess with them smiling smiley

Same for me, and I always notice the manager speak to his employees in the kitchen when I walk in, and then they all turn and smile. They're always so friendly. Same manager for several years now. However, they don't come into the dining room to talk to me or do anything "extra." Playing the game, but not so obvious on either side. I told my wife that's the smart way to do it, i.e. why would they want to out me if they can game the system (so to speak) and continue to score well.

On the other hand, a different Five Guys cheered "100, 100, 100..." as I departed on one shop (which I didn't report on, but they must have), and I couldn't shop that location for 6 months. I probably visited there every other Sunday for a few months.
I have also wondered the same thing. When I do the local shops, I get the "red carpet" treatment. When I complete shops out of state, they are usually terrible. I just completed one last week and all boxes were checked as well as we were seated in "Willie's corner!" Do we just get lucky with excellent service or do they know?
The manager would stop at my table and check on me but not check on anyone else. At first I thought it was because of the tag they taped to the table saying I was a call-ahead. But, nope... I saw others with the same tag, and they walked right by them. I had to take a long break, not because I thought they knew, but because I got sick of their food. All their food tastes the same.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

I have never done an TRX Bar shop but on the receipt should it have the servers name (Just like the dine in shops)

They have never asked me I want to by any TRX Gift Cards...

It may have the server's name, but they keep the bar tabs by customer name, and the shop criteria expects the server to ask for it.

Maybe the server's name was Steve Hopper (S Hopper).

My kids were recognized as having come in before by a server who wasn't even assigned to our table but stopped by to welcome them back. This wasn't TXRH but I was performing a shop when it happened. Some people are just really good at remembering faces and they'd apparently made an impression.
I'd rather have them know I'm the shopper and do everything right than to fail miserably and make me fill out a lengthier report lol
There are a-lot of faces that I remember but I don't remember their names..
