Spring pick up

I often see posts here about slow points, times when available shops are fewer.
What I am seeing now is the opposite and maybe these shops now were backed up and not done
because of the horrible winter experienced here?
Suddenly, over the past couple weeks, bonuses and offers to complete many shops.
I am getting a slew of texts and email offers.
It was dead this winter, now come alive.

I had a busy March but slow this month. I am kind of picky though.

The end of March was crazy busy and I just did some nicely bonused shops this morning. That being said there are lots of marginal shops I won't go near with the current price of gas. Ultimately I think we all have different definitions of a worthwhile or fairly priced shop, so "slow vs busy" conversations inevitably are apples vs. oranges.

The end of the quarter always brings some good paying jobs. I was in the right place at the right time and picked up some stuff they needed to get done.

I hope some decent stuff drops for the end of this month.

April and May seem to be busy in my neck of the woods. I've been out and about 13 of the last 14 days. I purposefully did NOT schedule anything to do with weekend. My head is spinning and I really just want to talk to my dogs and vegetate.

Next week won't be as bad. But I'll be setting myself up to do the same thing again in the following weeks. And I will still be going out at least 3 days, and probably more if I pick up some ISS and Presto shops too.

It must just be really dependent on your area. I see these posts quite a bit and some say it's crazy busy while others say the opposite. The first three months of this year have been quite busy for me with a lot of worthwhile shops. But April has been pretty slow so far. Historically it's been one of my best months so I'm hoping the end of the month will bring some great bonuses. I hope so as the summer months are approaching and they're typically my worst of the year.

I'm really thinking it's a seasonal thing because we had such a harsh winter here
and schedulers can often have a hard time getting people to leave home
around here in good weather, much less bad...and now with gas prices..we are more rural than urban,
so that presents a whole nother set of issues.

March started slow but really picked up with the bonused shops. I am not seeing that much in April, very slow for me right now. I did get some bonused dark audits which saved me but looks like this will be the first month I have made less than 1K in quite some time. But... 2 weeks left. I have also passed on quite a few jobs because I really don't want to put it so much effort to some of these jobs. I already work full time so I really appreciate the easier ones.
