Where's Valero

I was so hoping to be back on the road doing a route of Valeros. But so far nothing has been posted. Has anyone heard anything?

Over the last few periods, they have not begun precisely on the 1st. They also took a long time to finish P1, so much so that I did several within the last five days.
I see that the Shell stations are not starting until the 4th. Maybe they will come out later than the first.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
They still have a couple of stragglers from the last period, most likely.
$4 gas sure beats $1 or $2 but the pickiness of the editors, the constant malfunctions of the app/website make this a last resort shop for me so I'm certainly not anticipating a new round. Also, stations in the areas I work were looking good 5+ years ago when they became this brand and have clearly not been cleaned or maintained since then (more pics to upload on a site that keeps shutting down).
Valero is back on the board now but they have a few changes to this time around. Biggest one is you have to take an overall photo with geotagging on the FRONT of the picture. I know it is embedded in my picture but it wants it on the front of the photo. The geotagging photo is attached at the very end, it is the same questions and answers as before. Also you are to take photos of any homeless encampments without getting peoples faces.
I haven't seen Valero shops in my part of NY any time in 2026. Weird!
The encampment aspect is depressing. Not because of the shop requirement, but because this is actually happening in some parts of the country. Where I am, even the thought of an encampment being on gas station site seems wild. Good reality check of how much different it may be in some areas.
Defunct car washes on gas station property seem to be a real lure for the homeless to live in. I see a lot of them.
We have one here that I actually stopped shopping because it is across the street from the men's homeless shelter and they are some scary people. Normally I don't really worry about them but some of these guys are strung out and scary so I stopped shopping it.
