Comp audits

Hi y’all,

Does anyone have guidance on comp audits for restaurants? Do you get the prices from the menu board or from the manager?
This is my first one and I want to make sure I do it correctly.

I'm afraid that I don't understand the question. What is "comp" short for, it has to be an abreviation because it's not a word all by itself.
Based upon it being price comparisons, I am sure that you will not be asking a manager. Depending on the type of restaurant, you may need to get a copy of every menu they have (breakfast, lunch, dinner, children's, brunch, etc.) a menu board, a kiosk (such as McDonald's), or something else.
