Any issues with being permitted to do Shell shops at night?

The guidelines state the assignment may be begun at any time until 11:30 PM, assuming the station is still open. However, I'm leery of the possibility of being turned away after 9 PM or so. If staff aren't aware of the audit and aren't willing to give me permission, and can't get a hold of a manager or owner, they may turn me down. Also, some proprietors may have issues with me coming that late despite what the guidelines state. This happened once in a non-gas station situation.

If anyone has done some of these shops past 9 PM and can share their perspective, I'd appreciate it.

In case anyone is curious, I specifically mentioned post-9 PM as I have a volunteer gig which I end around 9 PM, and there are shops on the way home
Also, the weather isn't quite as brutal at that time.

I have not had any major issues. If they bring it up, I say I am here at night because I need to check the lighting. Dealing with the night shift is like any other brand. The staff is less likely to be familiar with the audits, but also less likely to care.

Good points. I forgot about the lighting aspect. Thanks for the perspective.

Calling a manager/owner is a nothingburger. The LOA clearly explains everything. As long as you are there within the time window specified you proceed with the assignment.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Since this project requires pictures of all of the pumps, I try to do them at times when the location is probably less busy. Night time definitely fits that profile. If you try to do these during a busy time of day, they can take forever.
The guidelines said 06:00 to Midnight. I haven't really looked at the guidelines this round, but I will before I do any of them. I like doing them at night because there are a lot fewer people involved. And I've NEVER been turned away from a Shell station.
Thanks for all the responses.

I did my first two night shops tonight. No issues with getting permission to proceed.. Very light traffic at the locations and it's not quite as hot out (but still humid, of course).
