Fast Food Online Order Shops - Why?

It seems like every fast food restaurant in existence has "online order" shops available right now. Who do you think is paying for these and why? It asks about how long the order took, a bunch of questions about the app, a photo of the food, etc.

I think it's part of a nationwide research project by the big I company. They do other forms of market research. It could be pricing, availability of items, etc.

This was a nice way to try some new places while on the road over the weekend. Some of the places included are regional fast casual chains where the food is healthier and more interesting than the usual fast food joints.

I'm curious if anyone has tried uploading the required screenshots because that platform normally won't accept them, saying the file size is too small.

Also, seems quite time consuming for the low pay and a nosh.

Big pet peeve here!

And something that each MSC using the platform can address by setting parameters on their end.

After a bunch of back and forth with project managers, and on-again-off-again shenanigans, it would appear the Phillips 66 reports will finally accept phone screenshots of gas receipts for app payments.

Those jobs are a route shopper's dream because of the flexible pay structure, and the report asks about using the app for payment. My MO is to use it for .10 and .25 gas purchases to maximize tank space for the 6 times/24 hours you can use it (the one thing I don't like about it). But I'd have to jump through hoops way too many times to get a receipt photo they would accept.

Have synthesizers, will travel...

It's really fast once you've done it a few times, I only do it for the ones that I do enjoy eating such as Chipotle, Panda Express, and a few other local places. I do like that they let you use discounts and coupons, also you get reward points on your acc. They allow gift cards too so it's a bonus for discounted gift cards. I did some last went out of town and was surprised to see most of them still available.

My Panda Express got rejected because the "plate" is considered two entrees and a side when the instructions say only one entree, side, and drink. Learn from my mistake, get the bowl or just a carton of an entree with the drink.

Every time I do a shop for that MSC, I say "never again" but I fell for 2 this week.

Hint for MS? I've never seen any and I use Prestoshopper and the one with the bullseye that do aggregates of different MSC jobs in addition to a lot of other MSC. I don't know what the big I is. It's not the blue website that has the initials II. Or the one with the spy looking guy with a hat on that has an app.

Yea Girly, I fall for it every time too.. I use them as a way to eat something while I'm out making other money. I did one at a Hardee's the other day but I blew it and it was rejected. ALL my fault. And I really do not like Hardee's food.
