$250-800 a shop!!!

I suppose I've seen these signs before, but they meant nothing until now. They still don't mean anything, but I understand them more, and by that I mean how bogus they are. I'm thinking about calling and seeing who it is and what gig they're trying.

Saw it getting off the highway on my way to a shop...

those mostly likely are scams as mystery shoppers we know no mystery shopper company will
pay that much
More accurately; No MSC offering that much for shops has to advertise via online banners, TV commercials, newspaper ads or roadside signs.

Yep, heck I jump at a $20.00 bonus
So, inquiring minds want to know .... did you call?
First off, terrible pre-recorded message. Press 1 to leave name/email and someone will get back to you. I pushed one and couldn't understand much of anything.

This is the company mentioned in the recording. They listed a variety of 'big name brands' they shop...

Then I hung up. Would have stayed on to speak with someone just to mess with them, since it's obviously not legit.

Edit: Perhaps the company is legit but the payment offer isn't.

Strange...
I did a few preschool shops for that company last month.
I won't get anxious until after their listed pay time frame, and I certainly wasn't offered hundreds of dollars...but still, seeing something like this makes me uneasy about the time I put into the shops!
I am registered with them but they don't have any shops in my area. I guess I am on hold.
I work for them myself and they're legitimate. I'm skeptical that they would advertise that way, with a roadside sign. Maybe they're desperate in that region.

I wonder if it's a scammer using their business info to lend legitimacy to his ruse. They don't advertise an 800 number on their website. It could be someone who works as a recruiter for them and screens applicants, I guess.

Are you in North Carolina? Someone using that 800 number has put posts out on job boards. Google the phone number and you'll see.

I'd contact Market Viewpoint with that photo you took and see what they have to say. It might be another scam using a legitimate company's name, or it could be they're trying something different for recruiting. But the PRICES they show are just nuts. That screams scam.

The phone number has been used for scams in the past. Of course, a new owner might have it since these posts were made on this reverse lookup site:

My sister says it is on craigslist too.
I'm really curious to see what Market Viewpoint says. Everything feels like scam.
If you get an email from a Matthew Mathai it is a scam. Sent for info and the next thing I knew checks arrived ups without an assignment attached except to cash and mail on. I am new to this and glad I found this site to see who is legit.I work from home now and was looking for something part time when my work slows down. reptudable ideas welcome.
Good for you for doing your homework. So many don't, and end up out hundreds of dollars, if not more! There is a lot of reputable work available, and you've found a great resource here to weed out what is and what isn't. smiling smiley
