She obviously is not a professional mystery shopper.
I read that, she does one shop per week...well then, she should have all the answers....I doubt ms doors will be knocked down over that article.

Live consciously....
Why the sarcasm? Don't understand. Sorry. Don't answer. And I don't think the article touted her as a "professional." Wasn't it simply stating, "ways to make extra money?" Maybe one a week is all she can handle. And I really don't mean to sound critical. Really, I don't.
Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the article.Love to send these type to my kids, who are always looking for ways to earn, "extra" money.
What's for sure: she blew her cover with puclishing her photo.
Also the fact that Leslie's only goes for 6 months a year, there is a 20 day rotation between shops as well. And one shop a week? One report? Yeah, OK. I'm sure Leslie's is thrilled to have their name out there too.
From the two shops that she lists as her favorites, I bet I know what MSP she works with most..... Hopefully it was a stock photo. Even if it wasn't part of her face is covered by the sunglasses.

I'm an "at least a shop a week," shopper, and I still consider myself to be a "professional."
I just thought it was funny because I would never put myself out there like that. It's no 15 minutes of fame that will result in anything, not that she's perhaps looking for that.

I read these articles all the time...they're often stupid and common sense. Ironically, I was in one once..... saw at the bottom they were calling for people for an upcoming article and I sent my story on saving money. This was before the days of MS.

I'm surprised she mentioned the name of a business too...I think that could squash work for her if the wrong person saw it.
I doubt very much that is really her in the photo - most likely it was a quick telephone interview done over the phone, and the journalist never actually met the shopper in person. That is probably not her real name either.
When I was interviewed for my article they wanted a picture of me. Usually, they have to credit 'stock photo' underneath them. I thought this too, that it's not really her either, but you never know.

Rather or not they have to credit depends on if they bought rights to it or not. You can buy rights to stock footage and then you don't have to credit it.
