Scan it and attach it to the e-mail you send to the scheduler.
Or take a picture with the digital camera and send as an attachment.
Either of the above will do just mae sure your scheduler nows what you are sending him. Put ib the subject part of the e-mail that this is the receipt or business card. That way he will now where to take it from there.

most reports have an upload link that you click on.

this means that you will have to:

1. scan your document with your personal scanner.
2. upload the scanned image to the appropriate link within the report.

if you don't have a scanner, you can photograph the document and send it to your computer with the appropriate digital camera.

if there is not an option to upload a scanned image within the report itself, you can email the scanned/photographed image via attachment to your scheduler.
Or, if no scanner or camera, ask if you can fax it attached on a piece of letter head sized paper.
Many of my companies that used to accept fax's, no longer do, as in NSS, who got rid of their e-fax machine. They want receipts/business cards uploaded into report. I take photo and upload from there, a little confusing at first, they will help you get through it.

I do not do the shops with a requirement that the business card must be obtained or the shop is rejected. Intellishop had car dealerships and electronic (Big screen TV) shops.

Obtaining a business card is a deal breaker requirement. If you do a shop and do not get a business card, DO NOT give them the info for free hoping they will pay you. They will not!

The Scenario is such where you DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS! You only evaluate the information the salesperson proactively gives you.

Imagine! The salesperson is telling you about a car or a TV and mentions a benefit or feature and you, as a shopper, do not ask the salesperson to elaborate. After a few minutes of this, the salesperson becomes frustrated, like the salesperson is talking to a wall. The salesperson knows you are a shopper because normal shoppers ask questions or asks the salesperson to explain or demonstrate that feature.

i don't understand why it might be so hard to obtain a business card. i do shops all the time which require the upload of a business card.

i generally don't experience frustrated salespeople. without necessarily asking questions, i just smile and respond with things like: 'yah, that's nice', 'oh, okay', 'i didn't know that', 'thanks for telling me'.
I can't count jobs on one hand that don't require a business card. For those on commission (like my high end retail, or dealerships), why wouldn't one get a card. Really not a big deal, they can verify the help and know you went to the right place. I've never heard of a company accepting a report without a business card....that's a new one on me. With all due respect, it's shoppers like this that keep prices down, or is this a joke, PHD.....

If they are out of cards or are too new to have them, I ask them to write their name on a brochure so I can have it to upload. I can start to get out note paper, but they will grab a brochure or remember to give me the business card that is kept under the counter without me having to ask.

Uploading from a photograph is easy once you get the hang of it. I upload from the SD card from my digital camera. I very rarely have any problems. The camera is set for the right size so I don't have to resize. Sometimes a company wants me to name the photo but that's rare unless it's an audit with lots of pictures.
on one rare occasion, a salesperson wrote her name on a generic business card at my request. she was a new employee at a jewelry store. i typically get a business card wherever i go, even if the shop doesn't require it. it's easier than having to remember the person's name or having to write it down for myself. i just say that i'm liable to need guidance in the future if i decide to follow up with a particular service.
Commissioned salespeople are more than happy to provide a business card, usually without a request. Many of the retail stores that sell more expensive items, TV's, refrigerators, etc., the employees may not get commission but they do have sales quotas. I prefer the BC to having to purchase something I never wanted and never needed so the receipt is my POV.
