Shopper will:
1. Make first contact by web (we provide the web link for you) This will take 5 minutes for each company.
2. Wait (be available) for their first pre-qualifying contact. It should be by phone, but could be via email. Typically, this happens within 24 hours – many times within an hour. This should take 5 to 10 minutes for each company.
3. During the pre-qualifying call you should be led to making an appointment for a sales representative to CALL you. This call should be 15-20 minutes. You might be required to have someone come to your home in order to gain pricing. If so, please schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
4. Fill out the form at our web page and upload or forward via email any information they send to you.
5. You MUST get the system size in kW, the cash price, the financed price, and the financing terms, IN WRITING. Without this information, your report will not be accepted.
In order to be considered for this assignment you MUST:
1. Be a homeowner of a single, stand alone family home. (Condos and townhomes not eligible)
2. Have a monthly electric bill of $150+ and a credit score of over 650.
3. Be willing to share your home address
4. Be willing to allow the company to view your home via Google Earth
5. Be willing to have a discussion to learn a bit about solar energy for your home. You do not need to know anything about it. You will tell the representatives you are in exploratory stage and learning.
6. Be available to take and/or return calls or emails in a timely fashion within the next few days.
