We have a fun shop for you! This assignment entails visiting a retail furniture store. The evaluator poses as an everyday “average” customer in need of furniture for a whole room (living or dining) they would like to furnish making the scenario believable.
For this assignment the evaluator is requested to arrive on site during the hours of operation for the store.
Special requirements
The evaluator should not mention finance (the associate should bring this up).
The evaluator will need to attempt to negotiate.
If offered mattresses the evaluator should allow the associate to show what is offered.
You must visit the restroom and check the cafe to see if they are clean.
The client’s online survey is accessible via the BARE Shop Log. All online surveys are to be submitted within 12 hours of evaluation completion.
The evaluator will pay attention to, and, make note on initial impressions and greeting, interaction made with the sales associate, product knowledge, and closing skills.
You are not required to agree to a purchase. Simply state that you are still shopping around.
Proof of shop
Evaluator will obtain a business card with the location’s address and associate’s name to submit as Proof-of-Visit.
