Valerie - that's not how this works. You need to post in the Job Board area.

Here's her other post:

"Hello Everyone. My name is Valerie and I am a scheduler with Service Scouts. If you are not already signed up with us, please do so and refer all your friends and family. We have a large amount of professional and college sports, concerts, musicals, performances, and more. We specialize in sporting events but have much more to offer such as restaurants, dry cleaners and more. We need people all across the US as we have many shops in many cities and adding new clients rapidly as well. We are growing fast so join us and make sure to get all the events you want to attend. Feel free to message me for details or send me an email for more info at valerie@servicescouts.com. Meanwhile, please sign up to be a scout at www.servicescouts.com"
I have never had a Mystery Shopping company ask for 3 references before and I am signed up with well over 100 MSCs. I do not even tell anyone that I do this as a side business. Is this really necessary?
And PLEASE add a permanent sig line to your account so that ALL of your posts will indicate your MSC affiliation. As a member for 6 months, you may have noticed where the job board is. Forum member tend to get testy about promoting an MSC without also making sure that ALL of your posts identify you as a scheduler. The easiest way for you to accomplish that is by going to your account area and creating a permanent signature line. It will then automatically attach to every post, so will save you time and aggravation.

Service Scouts is a fine MSC and I do not intend to knock them here..

However, I would suggest that "best value" is a very subjective statement. For those of us who shop to make a profit, two tickets to an NFL game just don't help much - even if parking is reimbursed. The other question I would have is this: How much of the game does the shopper actually get to watch? For instance, I did an MLB shop once and, effectively, only got to watch the last two innings. Whether it be fine dining or a ballgame, I would generally rather pay for the experience myself and enjoy it. smiling smiley

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I have never completed one of these reports in about an hour. There are anywhere from 9 to 11 interactions to report on including narratives detailing the interaction. You also need a photo of each person you interact with, all concession purchases, conditions of concession and condiment stations, and restrooms at multiple times throughout the event without other guests in the photos.
My guest always enjoys the events while sitting next to my empty seat. I get to hear what I missed while I am timing our exit from the parking area.
I get home late at night and spend the next few hours on the report. This is after spending most of the event collecting all that is needed.
If the report is not accepted due to missed interactions the shopper will be billed for the tickets. Also, some outdoor concerts the lawn seats are only worth $30 each and that includes parking. That report was way too much work for the value of that concert.

Same here. When I work, I work. When I relax. I relax. I don't like to combine the two.

Just as reimbursement of a business meal is not income neither is the provision tickets to complete a shop at a venue. What they are seeking are shoppers willing to work for free. Sorry, I csn think of many worthy charities to give my time but no reason to give it away to any MSC.

There is also an ethical issue here. The OP asserts that the MSC provides 1) "The fastest paying," and 2) "best overall value." Where is the emperical evidence of this? It sounds like false advertising to me.

Last night, I spent 15 minutes in a retail shop then spent another 10 minutes writing the report. I had commuting time of 4 minutes in each direction. I'll be paid early next week a large sum of actual cash without having waisted hours at a sport event.

Does the MSC have a study by a reliable objective outside accounting firm to support their claim or is it just creative writing?

Hi There- I'm with Service Scouts and have been a shopper with them as well as quality assurance coordinator. As a shopper and a trainer- I suggest that all shoppers get to the game early- you can literally have 95% of your shop done and entered into the survey before the game begins. I've worked with them since 2006 and have completed well over 100 shops over the years. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out- Tracy@ServiceScouts.com
