Subscribe to thread link gone?

I love the new "Like" link on each post in a thread!

I also loved being able to subscribe to a thread without having to comment on it to do so. Any chance that function could be reinstated? Sometimes it's nice being able to receive updates for a bit and decide whether to chime in.

Tech I have an unrelated question guru person. My scanner goes along fine and then I get an error message and it takes forever to get it back running. Ideas? It seems random. Thanks for all your help. You rule.
