*Brainstorm idea* Road trip shopping!!

i did have a brainstorm for the road trip shops (looking now)

use a smart phone to take pic's of the receipts... send them to girlfriend to load onto survey and give her the info verbally over the phone... offered to split the pay... she would hear nothing of it... she has a hard time accepting gifts... or she just wanted to bless me... im not sure which...

solves a bunch of problems like drive time, losing the survey, having to find a place with good internet... and doubles the times spend msing... whether or not it is ethical... i think it is... its just like using someone for dictation... no harm there...

i will repost it as a new thread...

dude,
"Partnership" shop reporting really requires MSC blessing, since the second person needs to be subject to an ICA and acceptable to the MSC. Our colleague ibless and her brother, and some other couples, are doing similar things. Splitting the fees is not a "gift," since it will be taxable income, lol.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

I always thought "partner" shopping was having two or more people perform shops under one ICA.

As for the taxation, he would be responsible for 100% of the tax burden if it was performed under his ICA. He could give a gift to his girlfriend of half the amount, but I doubt it would be enough for the IRS to fuss over.
There's always something to ruin a "great idea", isn't there? Keep your thinking cap on. Maybe something will work.
lol sandra... if i let people beat my good ideas out of my head i would have gone silent a long time ago...

and i bend a lot of ICA's any way...

if i miss something i give them a good score (benefit of the doubt, ie mistake happens during a restaurant and all mistakes are to be taken up with the manager-- and i forget this part... i dont report the mistake)... if i forget a persons name i make one up...

*waits for the stones*
