Walgreens This Week!

2 items looked good in this weeks ad. Seed packs 5 for a Buck! (Limit 10 per visit). I have had good luck with these the past couple of years. The other item is Ajax dish soap. 16 oz for 89c. limit 3 per visit...smiling smiley

It might make me lame and boring, but I love the Walgreens ad. Haha, I actually look forward to seeing it on Sunday morning.
Since I began to seriously coupon last year, I have found Walgreen's to be the place for some of the best deals ... and some of the most frustrating couponing. You can use a manufacturer's coupon plus a Walgreen's coupon (either from their weekly ads or from their in-store monthly coupon booklets) for an item ... and if you use those on an item that gives you back "Register Rewards," you can even make money sometimes! However, those items are often cleaned off the shelves quickly, making it difficult to find in-stock product. Thanks to Walgreen's my family is well-stocked with free or nearly-free razors, toothpaste, etc.

Yeah, but those don't cover expiring manufacturer's coupons or Register Rewards ... sad smiley

Keep in mind that these are items that are NOT covered by food stamps or other welfare assistance programs. Thus the extras make great donations. If your church has a food pantry, that may be a good place to donate. I collect that stuff for the battered spouse shelters.
ahh... couponing... today i went to three different stores... and i only bought things that i had a coupon for... stocked up like crazy...

according to a website i joined in2010 companies sent out 330 billion dollars in coupons... less than 1 billion was redeemed.. course most coupons are a ripoff... but whatever...

at cvs today i comboed a 20 percent off coupon with a couple of others... it was really nice... got a liter listerine for less than 5 bucks, a big bag of mm's for less than 3 bucks, and generic facial cleanser for 3 bucks... and with the cleanser i am less than 2 bucks away from earning a 5 dollar coupon for anything in the store...

walmart i picked up five tostino pizzas for a dollar a piece... and each of those has a code for a free redbox rental, a tub of icantbelieve its not butter for a dollar seventy five, and two four packs of dannon smoothies for two bucks each

at giant eagle i got 14 yoplaits for less than 44 cents each, half gallon of minutemaid premium not from concentrate for 2 bucks, and a dannon crunch pack four pack for less than 2 bucks
