Open Office 3.3

I am using Open Office on a new computer. I used to be able to highlight a row and open office would add the figures for me. It won't do that now. Can someone help? Thank you

I haven't seen 3.3 but I suspect that you may have a big Sigma sign which looks like a backwards 3 that can do the summation for you.
