In complete agreement with everything written above.
But, I'd also like to add:
It's nice to have a forum where people can feel welcome.
Many years ago I was a member of a huge online women's organization with at one time over 10K members. A great group of gals. Then when this organization disbanded and people moved on, I felt "lost" (figuratively speaking). I tried to find a place to 'fit in' and just to be able to talk to other people online. When you work at home/self-employed, you are very disconnected from a social interaction.
I don't PM, chat, do FB (though I do have an account), and in "Real Life" I am an extreme introvert - which when the Vegas Conference rolls around anyone from the forum going that I meet will find out.
Then, I started shopping and I found this forum. From day one, everyone has been so easy to talk to and very nice. Sure, I've made some big time booboos, and yes, I get sarcastic - which some may perceive as rude - and I'm sorry when that happens. However, I'm extremely thankful for the acquaintances and internet friendships that I've made on this forum. All of the tips and tricks are just an added bonus!
