What a bargain!!!

Yesterday we went to Oceanside because Hubby want to go fishing, he go fishing I go shopping (I did three shops over there), because I finish the shops early I went to a second hand store that benefit the American Veteran, always I go there to look for materials, fabrics and trims, I was looking in a bin and I saw this plastic bag with something I need and I want for looong time, inside the plastic bag was a Olympus Digital Voice Recorder VN-240PC with the books, the software, and two different kind of earsplug, the price?....$6.95 plus tax, and it is working!!. I think that I saw the same thing in Staples for about $90.00. Was a very good purchase, now I am reading the books to learn how it need to be used. Also have the Digital Wave Player book.

Congratulations Isabel! That will help you out a whole lot! Practice with it a few times before you depend on it to do a shop. I find it very useful to turn on mine as I get to the location and mention the time in as I read my watch while reaching for the door with my left hand. The recorder is on during the shop of course, and as I leave I note the time as I again reach for the door with my left hand and read my watch so I can mention the time aloud as soon as I am out the door. I then immediately do the descriptions of the people with whom I interacted. Once in my vehicle I do my lot and landscaping observations and mention the stores to left and right of the location as a number of shops ask for that (so I just do it for all of them). When I get home I can listen back to the recording for required timings and information as I take written notes before entering the shop report.

Flash, yesterday I did four shops and I used the DVR, also I took my notes just in case that my new toy was not recording, but there wasn't any problem, the shops went very well, and all my times and names were there.
I am very happy with my purchase.

I love the DVR for banks, because the questionnaire needs quotes. Where do you put yours?

I have a purse that I use on the shops, (on my other life, I don't use purses), well this purse have a little pocket at the side, just perfect to put the DVR with the clip there, no light can be see and the mic is at the top, so it is recording everything that I need, also in the purse I have a little notebook and a pen, just in case that I need take a note, before DVR I just was pretending to look for something inside the purse and took quik notes.
I purchased in Staples a box of small pen, they are half the size of a regular ink pen, they are very handly to write inside your purse.

I also bought those little pens. I can tuck one under my watch band during grocery shops.

Those compact pens are also good to stick in your pocket without worrying about their poking holes through.
