Beyonce half time

I think that B is very talented. A good voice and dancer.. However I watched the half time spectalcle and my problem is that all of her moves are obviously provocative. About 50 cents away from stripping. Many kids are seeing this. Do I think it will scar them for life, no. However it presents a view of entertainment which is oversexed.
Also not to preach to B or JZ but seriously, they have a baby and are married. And have millions of $s. Do you really need to do this in this way to make more millions.

I think it was better than the last few years. I didn't think the kids from Sany Oak should have been there.
We don't watch football but just tuned in for the half time show, she can sing but it looked like a hookers' convention on that stage. Shaking your hoo-ha and flinging your hair around isn't something I want to see.

Eh, I wasn't too impressed. She has natural singing talent. She doesn't need to be dressing and gyrating like that. IMO, it shows a lack of class.
The production is what she does.....all her shows and videos are like that, it's about entertaiment, but yes, that girl can sing.

Because everything she has done up until now was classy?

C'mon, if you just had a baby and your body looked like that, wouldn't you be showing everyone? I think this is the same conversation people were having about Elvis's gyrating crotch 50 years ago. Music and the halftime show in particular have always been about being provocative and pushing the envelope. If that performance proceeded the inauguration, it would be up for discussion, but football has a long standing tradition of half-naked women dancing around on the field at halftime....
I'm a bit surprised at the response, what did you guys expect of Beyonce, nun's wear.....it's football!! Your kids see worse than that, probably on utube. She should flaunt it, she's got it.....prude sounds hip compared to what's been written....this is the age of Rhianna, we had Madonna in my day, so, take it for what is, fun, exciting entertaiment, with lots of great talent.

Live consciously....
I'm not a prude, I just think singing "Bootylicious" along with the barely there dress was a little much.

Steve, even if I just had a baby and had a body like that, I would still dress with class. She's attractive and has a great voice, but then again so does Alicia Keyes and she still looked classy. But, hey, what do I know? smiling smiley
...but we are talking about the person who is responsible for the popularity of the term, 'bootylicious', and the booty shake that goes along with it.

Alicia Keys has always been classy, and is known and respected as a singer/songwriter. That's an apples-to-oranges comparison. If you want to look at someone who once based her performances on youthful sexuality, then became a mother and cleaned the act up, look to Christina Aguilera. Did she get invited to the Super Bowl? No.
I'm firmly planted on the "it's entertainment" side of the argument. But then again, my switch from a bikini to tankini had nothing to do with my age, just a sudden weight gain. As soon as the weight is off...............smiling smiley

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
