WAAAY off topic... help me name my other business

I'm only asking all of you because 1.) you'all are very smart and 2.) if I ask on a messageboard more pertinent to this subject, I will run into a bunch of folks getting all territorial.

In addition to doing mystery shopping, I have my own part-time business as a postpartum doula (helping families with new babies). Next week I am going to become certified as a Lactation Consultant, and while I will use those skills with my doula practice, I also want to offer those services separately under another business name.

Anyone have a creative idea for a business name for me? (nothing crude now, please!)

Milky Way ?? Hahahaha. I was just playing off the candy name of another services company... :-) Seriously, I have no clue.

Then I would have to become a labor doula and call that business "Baby Ruth"

(and can I say I still can't stop laughing at that other company's name long enough to take them seriously and sign up)
der ya go! Baby Ruth's Miky Way Services!

as a mother of a 20 mo. and a 3 mo., I would care less about your name, and more about your location!! Where can I find you and how can i get Griff to take a bottle from me??
Well der ya go! You got new business and some better names than kid's candies. LOL.

I had twins. One breast fed, the other would not. The breast fed one got bottles first with water, then dilute orange juice, and there was no real confusion. He was happy enough to take breast milk or formula in a bottle as long as he got something some way when he was hungry. He breast fed until he started getting teeth and drawing blood.

I read your post and a Beatles song started running through my head. I don't know if Mothers Little Helper is the name of the song but that's the line I keep hearing in my head, lol.

Wrong band. It's the Rolling Stones.

What a drag it is getting old.

Kids are different today.
I hear every mother say.
Mother needs something today to calm her down.
And though she's not really ill.
There's a little yellow pill.
She's goes running for the shelter

Here's some good tips.

I once looked into becoming a Doula. The name shouldn't be funny or too cute. It should evoke confidence and stability for these little Mothers smiling smiley

I like Mothers Little Helper.. however, it reminds me of just what it was.. the Beatles were talking about the little white pills that gave you unlimited energy... ya know what I mean?

Mother's Helper would be good. Or something like your name and underneath that would be Doula.. serving the whatever area. You know, something very professional.

Another thing I did was to get on the internet and look up 'Doula'. Check out the names in your area and region and don't get your name from that! I went to Doula's in London, and came upon a lot of wonderful names and ideas.

I never pursued.. and now I am regretful. It's a wonderful, noble profession!

It's the "Rolling Stones' and a little yellow pill and I agree Mother's Helper is just what you would be. Maybe a little tag afterwards stating the you are a professional "Doula". Sounds like a great name!
