Did you thank a veteran today?

I didn't speak with one so I did not. But I am going to watch the documentary on Fox at 10 pm about the Navy SEAL who killed Usama Bin Laden.

I live with one. Vietnam.

Unbelievable what they all went through over there. It was pure hell. They came back home and had tomatoes thrown at them with people screaming, "Baby killers!"

You have the effects of war and then come home to this sh**

No wonder they can't sleep at nights. sad smiley
Most certainly we did!! A good friend served 8 years, our 9 & 13 year old boys (as well as me and my husband) called to tell him thank you for serving our country and risking his life for ours. In our household, there are no bigger heroes than the people protecting our freedom!!

Thank you to all our vets who risked your lives for us!
The most awesome thing that I did was on Myrtle Beach, N.C. There were 250 veterans having an annual Veterans day program, I think it was in September 2 years ago. I shook hands with every one of them. I thank all of you veterans every day, not just Veterans Day. Being there was an accident, I was parting with friends for their SOS dancing.

AWSOME!
Everytime I see a military uniform, I thank them. We wouldn't be able to do what we are doing on this forum if it wasn't for the military protecting our freedom.
