Ever feel like quitting the forum....

Do certain people get on your nerves retailiating every word you say and not interpeting things you mean correctly. I seem to have had a couple on this forum, and they don't leave me alone. I don't talk to them, yet, am always answered by them......wish they would get out of my face, and move on....with their wit, experience, bra size and whatever other sideway remark they see fit posting on this forum. I can see through you.

I am a member of many forums and no I never feel like quitting any of the forums that I belong to. I did quit V a long time ago but only because of the MOD over there.

anyhow, yes, there are many different personalities on forums....that is what our world is made of.......that is what makes life so interesting. I may not agree with everyone's point of view, humor, etc.........but I try not to take anything personal or be offended.

Sometimes, members have strong opinions and it can be taken out of context. Remember, we are only reading the typed words......it is hard to interpret the emotion behind the written word. I have had members take me seriously when I was kidding around.
When I have had issues/conflicts,etc.......I have tried to communicate via email/pm and work it out.

Hopefully, any disputes/issues........can be worked out. And truly, if any member of any forum feels they are being harassed by anyone.......then the forum moderator should be notified.

Thanks...being relatively new to forums (didn't know about them when I started), I guess I get a little personal over some responses. Will try and keep my tough skin on, as I do in life when needed. Thanks again, your very level headed and funny I might add, and above and beyond all...we do the same restaurants, shows we're super duper.....
I know what ya mean, I just remove myself for a while. I have the same tendancy to get to personal with folks. It comes with being nice and not surronding yourself with negative. When you are positive and project positive, sometimes you reel in negative. This is the only forum I attend, I wouldn't have more than one, to much drama and BS cluttering up my email space! lol

Agree, it's like a world war 4 trying to convince, that you can deduct the cost of your Gold CD, if you have a business, as it is a business expense. I can't tell you the arguments I have gotten.....guess I'll just go by my tax accountant whose Mother worked for the IRS....why listen to this forum, just clutter and email annoyance. I do join in on MSFreedom from time to time, they are all very positive, and fun. Try it....
I'm new folks and the idea of quitting this forum just as I am beginning ...well let's just say ...I'm gonna try it first. That is not to say that I have not quit something ever in life. All I am saying is: to set a People here are free spirited individuals, and are insensitive to others emotions and feelings. Don't take it personal and don't read what they print about you. They are just probably trying to get you to respond to them.

Hi Joseph!

In any forum there are differences of opinion, and that is good. Just as with any other aspect of life, there is not just one way to do mystery shopping. Dialog between members about the various merits of those differences can be constructive or destructive. Personal attacks, especially on those with whom there has not been an ongoing dialog is unacceptable behavior in any civil discourse. The OP for this thread is no longer with us because of those behaviors. I think you will find most of the information in this forum is reasonably valid, most of the members reasonably sane and most of the opinions are just that--opinions.
You will notice it was ". . . most of the members . . ." not ". . . most of us . . ." smiling smiley
Well, I now know that you were not referring to me. I have very few sane moments and cannot remember the last time anyone referred to me as being sane.
