Black Friday starts today (in some places. it started days ago in other places and will continue for a few weeks...)

So. If anyone still has any money and any willingness to spend it, are they getting any really good Black Friday deals this year? Do tell...

My cousins always did movies with us, a big steak dinner (either Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse) and shopping for electronics and clothes.

Nothing this year. Maybe 2021!
I got a great electric toothbrush at Target for $29.99. The regular price is $49.99. Order online and pickup contactless pick up at the store.
For the first Black Friday in years, I didn't buy anything. I still might, because I've been thinking I might want an air fryer.
Husband got a foot massager and a jewelry box (Both Black Friday deals) for me as my Christmas presents. There was a toy train for my daughter on sale. We'll put it around our tree this year. Other than that, didn't find anything appealing. Watched QVC and HSN but nothing there except blouses and coats.
Currently merching in places that feature large, seasonal cyber sales signs. There was no time to browse and choose faves. I wondered briefly about the future of merch. Presumably, if seasonal sales are sufficient, there can be merch in open businesses in future.

We have never participated or paid any attention to Black Friday deals. The hype and frenzy turns us off. But, I sure do like to hear of deals others get as well as in person shopping experiences i.e. funny and pleasant ones.
