Paid to take surveys?

Does anyone know a legitimate company that really does pay you to tak surveys or focus group? I've checked quite a few companies and they all want to be paid something for a list of companies. That's how it was when I first started looking for mystery shops until I found JacobJ and he had all this information on legitimate mystery shop companies that you don't have to pay; they pay you. Is there such a company that pays you to take surveys?

There is a list on here of companies that do surveys. Try the "Search" feature with 'surveys' and see what comes up. The only survey company I work for is PineCone which generally I get one or two unpaid screening surveys and one $5 paid survey per month. The payment generally appears in my PayPal account the next business day. I have a bunch of "points" out there with other survey companies that once I complete about 50 surveys of about 15 minutes each I would qualify for a $5 gift card to restaurants where I normally wouldn't go anyway. Some of them, once I get all those points, may even pay me $5 but they may require enough points accumulated to earn $25 before sending a check. So based on the few that were highly recommended to me and did the points nonsense, I find other ways to spend my free time smiling smiley That does not mean there aren't better ones out there.
I get e-mails from www.mypoints.com.

They send you e-mails.

I don't even look at them anymore.

When I go thru my e-mail I hit the end button to scroll down to the bar "Get Points" hit it, wait for the ad page to pop up and click close, then I delete the e-mail.
It takes a few seconds to do this.

They give you points. I accumulated 1400 points so far in 1 month.
For around 3000 points you get example: $25 gift card for bath & bodyworks.

Try it, it doesn't take a lot of time.

I never read the ad or the pop-up.
Here are three survey websites that pay cash. Pinecone Research, Survey Savvy, and Valued Opinions. You need to keep in mind that any surveys you receive is based on your demographics so you may get more or less dependent on your information.

Here are some that claim to pay cash that I received from an email. I didn't check them all out but Survey Savvy was one of them.

Global Test Market Panel

Opinion Outpost Panel

My Survey Panel

ACOP Survey Panel

Your 2 Cents Panel

SurveySavvy Panel
I have unique demographics, and lose most of my survey money. Unmarried, over 60, no kids, no cable TV, don't play video games, don't get my news from the internet, watch very little TV, 13-year old car, don't eat fast food, not influenced by advertising and know most of it is false, play NPR on the radio, PBS on TV. I get a Pinecone $5 about every 2 months. I think Your2Cents paid me for 1 out of about 20 surveys.

Another one that pays cash is Brand Name Institute. And they once sent me one can of cat food to test. Opinion Outpost DOES pay cash
Myview.com sends you survey offers and tell you how much each one pays ($1-2.00) if your qualify. They don't take long to do, They say they will put the money in your Paypal account. I assumed it would be next month. Maybe I should check to see is anything is happening. I could be $6.00 richer!
I love to do paid surveys, but were are they. Everytime I do a survey, I do them and at the end they say "Oh, you don't qualify". Haven't quite figured out what I'm doing wrong. Just get entered into there sweepstakes. Just resently I have done 3 home product sampling and got paid for them. That was really cool. I'm new to this, I enjoy doing it, and I hope to get more involved with Mystery Shopping, paid surveys, product testing, and just have fun with itand in the meantime make money with it.
I gave up on survey's. If you have the time, I guess it would be ok. This is a real time waster and I don't have the time. When I do surveys, I find they have me paying from my credit card or I'm getting advertisements in the mail or on my website that don't interest me. Who can live on $5.00 or .50? In my opinion it is a game for people who need something to do.

Rlly
Can anyone dispute rlly? Because that's what I found. I spent Christmas vacation 2006 searching for them. That's how I was introduced to more mystery shopping companies and Jacob's list and began doing it more often than the occasional one over the last ten years. I left the surveys behind. From mystery shopping websites, I found merchandising. I would like to get involved in mock juries and other civic-minded activities. I signed up with a company but never heard anything.

There are plenty of reliable paid survey companies. There's a list here somewhere. I set up a separate email address, I've stayed with reliable companies, and I haven't had a single piece of spam.I can't think where I originally found my list, maybe the FCC. Often you're disqualified because they're looking for a particular demographic, but that doesn't make the company a scam. As soon as I write I'm 62, single with no children, I've lost many of them. Also, I watch very little TV, have 2 college degrees, don't watch sports-- I've lost some more. No cable TV or smart phone--even worse. smiling smiley
I have $32 in checks to take to bank tomorrow.........Opinion Outpost, Survey Spot and Survey Savvy. I do surveys for Pinecone that deposit in my paypal account. I like Opinion Outpost a lot because you don't spend a lot of time answering questions only to find out you don't qualify.

I found that they just want to you purchase or sign up for things, that you have to also buy from gold, silver and Plat. before they later may pay you.I havent seen any money yet. I try and stay away from them, thats why I starting mystery shopping.
That's a different kind of survey co, goldie. These companies are legit. Nothing to buy and not a single piece of spam. It's like the difference between MS scams and legit MSing companies.
I do Pinecone too. I was doing Greenfield but the ones they pay for I seem to not qualify every time I start one or get into one then I don't qualify. I've signed up for mock jury and a medical survey that pays big money. The mock jury I haven't gotten one yet and the medical is only about once every 4 months.
I do myview too. Quick, easy and they do pay. Get one of these nearly every day from my View.
In what way does Myview pay? I just went over there and it seems they give points, not cash.
They pay $1 for every 5 minute or less survey. Tonight I did one for $5.
If you join and answer all the survey's they have on your page you get $1 for each. Then they send you higher paying surveys as time passes. Thus far I have most likely done 50 paying survey's for them in the past 4 weeks.
They pay by Pay Pal once a month and my payday is coming up soon.
I do Neilsen scan too and get paid for surveys I scan at home...$2/per and it takes only seconds to do the survey scan. They pay by check once a month.
