.. one of my first tasks would be to seek an existing fund or establish one for individuals and families who experience wrongful claims of child neglect and abuse. I was reading recently that some child abuse docs are wielding so much power that their word is practically a god that is revered and obeyed-- unless and until someone can obtain additional medical and legal opinions to the contrary. These additional opinions are expensive, and no one should be expected to work for free. Some families have prevailed because they had access to funds. Other families have no spare funds. What can they do in the face of a misbehaving medico- legal system that is indistinguishable from a bludgeon? If it is absolutely wrongful to smack a kid with a blunt force weapon, it should be at least as punishable to smack a family with wrongful charges that are costly financially and in other ways. *picks up soapbox and prepares to walk away*
But what about you? What would you do with so much spare cash?
