I have only been going 7 weeks, so hasnt come up yet. LOL But I can see someone feeling that way after doing it awhile.

I have actually been frustrated with not getting enough jobs.

I am in the Long Beach CA area. That is by you, right, Irene? I dont know if I am just getting to the job boards late, and they are all taken because there are a glut of shoppers in this area or what else is going on.
Irene: I think we all think about it. I try to take a few days off to give myself a break. The problem is I am always on my computer, and feel like I have to look at the mystery shop emails.
Sweepnet, I'm on the other side of town, closer to the Valley (Encino), but, I do see many more shoppers in my area. I'm getting my share of jobs, however, things are more complicated and fees remain low, gas costs and on and on....getting hard to really make $$.

Kittybrat, I'm off today, just have an oil change tomorrow, doesn't seem to help, just tired of the time involved to put a run together, and the work now involved for report, low pay, mileage on my car. I know everyone gets this way, but I'm serious. Going to look around and see what's out there.

I wouldn't think of quitting unless I found something more interesting. I DO get a little burnt now and then, and will often cut back on what I'm doing until my energy comes back up. Why not take a couple of weeks off and then see how you feel?

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
the benefits of this job is you can quit and pick back up anytime you please... do as you feel... i took a 4 month break... didnt find anything better...so im back in it...

shopping north west PA and south west ny
True, you can't really quit, as you can always come back..if only $$ was in tune with time spent...today I'm having my favorite breakfast, and a nice paying valet parking in the same area, it's a good day. Whenever I get on the computer, yes, I'm searching my emails for jobs, so, since it's in my blood, guess retirement is only in my mind. Thanks for your support. cooldude581 Wrote:

Irene, if you find something interesting, pm me.

This week I did a restaurant report which totally exhausted me. I am off a few days next week and really need the break.
Yep, I posted something similar. I'm really feeling burned out by the whole process and I've only been doing it for 8 weeks. Some days I feel like I'm wasting my time. Other days I feel fortunate to do mystery shopping. Unfortunately lately it's been the former sad smiley
