Aug. 09 is National Book Lovers' Day!

We have people here who read all kinds of books (and other materials). Yah! Huzzah! This in itself is enough, but I will ask anyway:

Any book stories?

While I don't have any stories, I must admit that I am a frequent user of the free library.

Okay, here is a story: I used to work walking distance from the Library of Congress. I never got a library card from there!

I recently read the book "Hold'em Poker for Experienced Players" by David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth. This book is a true classic that gives a thorough understanding of the strategies and tactics needed to play Texas Hold'em successfully. I especially liked the chapter on "Pot Odds" and "Implied Odds", which opened new horizons for me in understanding bets and decisions at various stages of the game. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get serious about poker! And if you're suddenly looking for somewhere to test your skills, I suggest Blazzio(https://www.blazzio.com/). I highly recommend it.
