Any special plans for Mother's Day?

Unfortunately my mom has passed. But when I was younger and worked at a flower distributor, I'd bring home several dozen roses of shorter stems and variety of colors to put in her vase.

I don't do the dinner thing on the actual holiday. I usually postpone to another day without the crowds.

I'm not a mother, but I'll celebrate mine later in the week. We're going to Texas Roadhouse on Thursday, and Friday will be her choice. Unfortunately, this weekend is Mother's Day and the local college's graduation, so everything will be packed.

We're doing a Mellow Mushroom shop Saturday, to avoid the Mother's Day crowds. I've got a broken tooth from the Mellow Mushroom we did a week ago, so my son is going to be doing most of the eating, I'll be drinking the margarita..
Morledzep: I have to ask, how did you get a broken tooth from the Mellow Mushroom?

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
My mom passed away last year. Our aunt is the last living family member on that side of the family, so we - her nieces and nephews, are baking today - cookies, cake, etc. and tomorrow we plan to all visit her together as a group and bring her fresh baked goods and flowers.
We're hoping she's up for a long talk....we love to sit with her and gather more pieces of family history.
When my mom was alive we always had a family golf day, then dinner at the house.

Me, I'm going for a hike. There is a mother's day pancake breakfast that many of the hikers are going to, but I'm just joining for the hike.

Late to the game. Catered at home with my sister's family and Mom. I have my Mom held captive in my home until the end of this weekend, LOL! Loving it and especially loving her.
