Full or Part Time Employment doing audit type work

Sounds crazy but I was looking up someone I used to know. I hadn't heard from her in a long time and turns out it's because she passed away from COVID during the pandemic.
Anyway, I found her most recent social media post and she mentioned she had started working for a company called ScanScape....curious, so I looked them up.
They hire people, full or part time to go into grocery stores and collect data. First time I've seen a job where you work independently, but you are an employee with consistent work assigned to you and you go do it outside of a workplace..reminded me of MS.
website is scanscapeusa.

I am not affiliated in any way, just passing on info to anyone who might be interested in full or part time work.

Worth looking into, and I will check it out, but my first reaction was it sounded like the gig gathering data for EBT qualification.

That wound up heading to the 10-foot pole list as the workload was easily 3X what the recruiter had presented, and it was a fixed fee gig. I wasted 2 hours going through their materials and a webinar before bailing because of their BS.

Similar company maybe?

I have no idea, but I have been known to quit jobs that turned out to be other than what I wanted. lol....long time ago, however.
Nothing close enough too me to make weekly visits, but I was shocked when I looked at the preliminary video offering a "peak" at the gig.

We remain a nation a mostly idiots.

BF I would not recommend this kind of work. It’s very hard on your knees and you have to be very fast to meet quotas and squeak past minimum wage. Trying to scan 12 packs of beer in coolers was not fun. I tried it before MSing. It wasn’t w/ this company. It needed to be covert, which isn’t easy when scanning hundreds of items. The supervisor was incentivized for heaping unreasonable workloads w/ strict deadlines on us. She was an implacable BOW. Constant emails chastising us for not meeting quotas etc.. I quit after refusing new training w/ a pervy guy who kept invading my personal space. Of course she vouched for him. It lasted a month.
I was a manager of this type of work; where I had a team that went into stores and scanned. It sounds easy, but it's not. It's boring, it's hard on the knees and back, it's tedious, and I sure hope you don't miscount on just one thing. It takes forever to figure out where the count is off. But, if you like this type of job, go for it. LOL
