BJ Brewhouse

I am meeting a friend for lunch at BJ Brewhouse.

I don't recall ever eating at one of their locations before.

Any suggestions?

(Oops, forgot to post this part...)

Is this a shop? Or just meeting for lunch?

If you go on a weekday, they have $13 Pizookie Meal Deals. A Pizookie is their dessert which has a fresh baked cookie (as they call it). Personally, I think it's a hybrid cookie/cake. It comes with a scoop of ice cream and a topping that corresponds with whichever one you order. With the Meal Deal the Pizookie is a single scoop. If you order a Pizookie separately, it has 2 scoops of ice cream and it's larger overall. The larger size costs $7.99 in my area (I'm in Northern KY).

They also have happy hour specials from 3-7PM.

I've done some bar shops during the happy hour time frame, and I got an appetizer for $4.00.
Anything that looks good to you. I've found BJ's to be very consistent, and would welcome the opportunity to shop them. Heading to SoCal for a convention and there will be some locations on my route, but the timing is not stacking up for a meal there.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
they have recently posted a shop there with BOGO reimbursement.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
It wasn't a shop, just a lunch get together.

I ended up getting the meal deal, actually.

The salad was good - the personal pan pizza?

not like any pizza I've ever seen lol.

More like a fried English muffin baked with cheese on top.

Not a drop of tomato to be found.

The server was wonderful and everything came out quickly - so there's that.
