And then there’s ’Revenge is a dish that is best served cold.’
Not sure who the author is. Probably not Confucius..
The phrase "revenge is a dish best served cold" became popular through French author Eugène Sue's 1841 novel Mathilde: Mémoires D'une Jeune Femme, but its true originator is unknown
Speaking of revenge, one of my favorite novels was '"The Other Side of Midnight'" by Sidney Sheldon. They made it into a movie but the book was so much better.
