US expected to send thousands more soldiers to Middle East, sources say
The Pentagon is expected ​to send thousands of soldiers from the U.S. Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, two ‌people familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday, adding to a massive U.S. military buildup even as President Donald Trump talks about a possible deal with Tehran to end the war.

Hamas wants to destroy, as in eradicate, Jewish people and Israel. Is this acceptable? There might be alternatives to the referenced war build-up. What would those options be, though? *puts on thinking cap*

Don't you think the issue of what the US should or should not do about Hamas is a separate
question from the issue of we should do about Iran? They are related and yet, two situations?
Iran, by all appearances, is a war of choice.

Respectfully ~ If you’re looking for an answer or solution for terrorism you aren’t going to find one. It’s been a successful tactic used repeatedly by radical Islam to gain the power they now have - over the world. There’s no rooting it out, as Israel has learned over and over again.

The Dec. 8th attack on Israel and Assholla’s attack on the Iranian protesters were a wake up call. If NATO was functioning properly it wouldn’t have left the US holding the bag. During turbulent times you see who your friend are. The US stepped up for Israel, but took it too far (Biden’s fault). Now it’s about to happen again.

If the Saudi’s think we should keep going they can put their money where their mouth is. The European leaders are hiding behind their people, who view it as unpopular. Tough! War is unpopular. Democracy and alliances come with a cost. We’ve paid our share and sent a strong signal to Iran that 2 can play at that game. Don’t tell me that all of the countries in that hemisphere aren’t relieved that Iran’s military has been dismantled.

The biggest problem we face currently is the alarming way Haggis is running his mouth. Now the call is coming from inside the house. If he DOESN’T STOP firing the top brass, using the name of Jesus to antagonize the enemy, making inflammatory statements like ‘we negotiate with bombs,’ and blowing up Iranian infrastructure - which is considered a WAR CRIME, it will surely invoke a response in the form of a terrorist attack on US soil. Then THAT will lead to a full blown war. Haggis needs to pick up his toys and go home. He’s a clueless, temperamental, manic depressive, woman hating bully. NODOBY likes or supports his toxic masculinity.

Fear not. It has been reported that some world leaders are bypassing Trump [and Trump's notions?] as they grapple with Strait of Hirmuz in other ways.

Most people don’t know that there was a ton of activity around the nuclear hot spots in those mountains prior to the first attack. Iran obviously saw it coming with the start of US deployments and had hundreds of trucks lined up to these sites in the days prior as they removed weapons. There were clips of satellite surveillance of it on the news. It was pretty clear at that point that they moved the uranium. Why wouldn’t they?

Rump lied after the first attack. I wouldn’t put it past him to lie to the press about what’s really going on if he thinks it will give him an edge. It seems like that’s what he’s doing now. His gaslighting also satisfies his need for self aggrandizement.

My guess is Israel had some idea of where weapons were moved to. A surprise attack was the most effective way to destroy them, not to ask permission from Europe. The search for them is why we’re still there. The second attack was mainly to protect us. After the first attack is was probably determined that the most we could do was to cripple their military and remaining weapons, and hope we can intercept the nuclear weapons they have by air or sea. Europe will now have to appease them for not supporting a full fledged takeover of their country. Really dumb move. That would have been the only way to get to all of their weapons. The fact that they are left to grapple with it in other ways goes without saying. Who cares what they do.

I will stay with the wider view, remembering how nimble and elusive various targets have been over the years. This is a long game.
