It's been a day..

No response from the guy I was supposed to buy a trailer from today.. just as well. I really needed the extra sleep this morning. There will be other trailers.

Got to the grocery stores late, almost too late for the last grocery shop.

I Left the last store considerably later than I should have and I was rushing with a slim chance of getting both of my gas station audits done. There was some road construction in progress, I apparently caught something in a tire. Or the TPMS suddenly randomly broke and quit working.

I had to stop, there was still enough air in the tire to get to a gas station. So I went to the first station that was a Shell station that just so happened to have a shop available. I did the shop while waiting for AAA to put my spare on the car.

Missed my other shops completely, the window closed before AAA got there. Tomorrow got expontentially worse, now I have to go to the tire shop and get the TPMS sensors replaced and my tire fixed. AND I have to go to a different state for 3 more grocery shops..

I'm going to have nightmares and be perfectly miserable all day tomorrow. I can feel it.

Hang in there....at least you were able to do a shop while waiting for the work to be done...that's clever.
The tire sensor on my car went awry, so I just leave it alone and go old school (keep a gauge in the car, couple bucks to buy one)
Hope your grocery shops glean some good stuff for you.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on

I hope your day goes better. What will happen if I don't get the TPMS fixed? Does it affect anything else?

I had 4 shops, thinking I could do them while Hubby was at hockey. After his eye appointment, he felt he couldn't go to hockey. Him waiting while I shop is just not relaxing. Aside from that I made mistakes on the Canadian Tire audit. C-Tire staff won't want a second audit, So waiting to hear what happens with that. And I did not like having 4 jobs to enter when I got home.

Not anything like your day but I'm re-thinking whether I want to quit substitute teaching. Work is done when I leave school.

I hope you did the AAA shop for $50. That would make up for the other jobs you didn't get to do.

I hope your day tomorrow starts out much better.

What were you purchasing the trailer for?

Whoa. High stress MLZ. I admire you ladies. All I know is to get in the car and drive it I filled my tank 3X in my life while out of state . My state is not pump your own. First time, had to ask for help, he was so nice and did everything (does that count)?. Second time, I was with my sister and we figured it out together although the dang attendant got on the PA system and was yelling at us unintelligibly. (does that count)? The third time, the attendant came out running as I pulled around and yelled, "Noooo, not my pumps!!!!". Apparently, I almost clipped them. Guess he was so happy they were still intact, he filled the tank for me
So nice. Guess that doesn't really count either. DH took my car to get inspected the other day. It crossed my mind that I never had to do it myself and was grateful for that.
My previous career was Automotive Technician for 30+ years. The TPMS doesn't actually affect anything at all, but it tells you when your tire pressure is low, so you don't drive on a flat. But nothing helps when the tire goes POP while you're driving. I did NOT go to the tire store this morning, I slept.. I don't think I had a choice.

The tire shop I like to go to is open on Sundays, so I'll go tomorrow when I go into town. I have a full set of TPMSs, I'll get a tire and have the new sensors installed. And after I get paid again, probably Monday, I'll order a new set of sensors. The batteries die in them all the time, and apparently the one in my right rear tire is in pieces.
