Using the Search function, enter Retail Eyes, all dates. There has been some discussion. Retail Eyes doesn't have much in me area besides a yogurt shop. It pays fee and reimbursement. Having done very little with the MSP, I don't have enough history to share any meaningful information about communication, reports or timely payments.
A while back they had a hibachi chain and I found the report easy and they paid regularily but I have not seem them in awhile. I think they are part of Market FOrce now.
I did a little research on my own and called the Retail Eyes company. It seems that another group is using their name and contacting people online with an offer to become a shopper. Then, they send a letter that seems very official, with lots of policies outlined, two evaluation forms, and a "cashier's check" made out to the recipient for $4,000.00. The recipient is told to call the trainer for the first assignment. At that point the recipient will be told to deposit the check, and then wire the same amount of money back to someone in Canada for "verification/ security, etc." They are told that the money will be reforwarded to them in order to start shopping. Of course, the recipient is left holding the bag when the check bounces. The company spokesman said that they are very upset about this abuse of their name and are pursuing it. In the meantime, I was told that yes, there is work for mystery shopping in my area, but it works much differently, and that I need to go online and apply through their own legitimate process. I wasn't surprised that it was a scam. You just don't get big checks like that without working for it. However, I am very surprised at the amount of people who apparently are taken in by this. Folks need to take a big dose of reality and be very, very cautious and suspicious of anything that seems too good to be true, because it is.
I've done one shop for Retail Eyes involving a hitachi restaurant. $80 reimbursement + $5 pay. Pretty easy, and I received a check in about a month and a half. I'm doing another one next week for them.

I've been working for them for years and they are one of my favorites. Unfortunately they do not have many shops anymore around here. I call them frequently and speak with the schedulers who are all nice too. They are receptive to shoppers comments and recently changed the forms on their yogurt shop as it was very cumbersome. I gave them feedback on that and they made changes! I think they still have the Japanese grill shop but there are only a few locations and they go fast. They are outsourcing their airport shops to kern scheduling.
I did a retail shop for them in October. Got my check in the mail today as promised. It was reimbursement + fee.
They used to have the yummy yogurt place, the yummy Italian and yummy Mexican restaurant shops here where I live, but since the economy took a dump on my area those places closed down and there isn't anything else they do in my small part of So Cal.
I get e-mails from them saying available jobs every couple of weeks (have been signed up over a year). I log in immediately and no matter what search parameters I put in, there are no jobs.

WTH??
I just did one for them this week. It was an easy report. No word on payment, but it is early.
