How many shops do you like to do a day?

I was curious about how many shops other shoppers perform on a given day. My favorite number is 5-6 shops a day. I've done up to 15 a day and found it just exhausting! Not to mention I was up until late just entering the shops. I find 5 to 6 shops a day is a really nice number. It takes me just a couple of hours to do, a couple of hours to enter them and the rest of the day is mine! I can sleep in and start my shops at 11 and be finished by 2 or 3

It completely depends on the reports. I get bored doing the same report for more than 3 shops in a day, and even the 3rd one feels like I will never get to the bottom of it to hit 'submit'. My 'ideal' day would be 5-6 shops, none of which were new to me, with 2 to 3 different reports, all of which could be completed before about 4PM so I could get some other things done before a dinner shop and after dinner report.
That's a tough question because it totally depends on the type of shop. I have done as many as 10 to 15 traditional shops in a day with no problem because they were very fast gas station shops with only 2 photos and I didn't report them until the following day. My ideal is not a number, but rather being able to keep my work day at 7 1/2 to 8 hours including travel time.

I try to vary the type of jobs in a day so I don't feel like I'm repeating my self in every shop.

I have a full time job so I try to do one shop at lunch and if its a day I don't pick up my grand children I try for one or two after work. I will will take more if they happen to line up in the same area.

On weekends I try to do four or five a day.

LOL I keep busy
I try to do 5 to 6 a day.. for good quality shops but i remembered I took on 10 shops a day and wow I definitely get sloppy.
I'm in agreement that it depends on the shops. It also depends on demands on the home front. As a generalization for me, 3 a day is easy. 4 is pretty much a day. 5 is really pushing it. I have done as many as 8, but my critters didn't get fed until very late that day, and I had no time with my family.
Yes, it definitely depends on the shops and the reports. Five to six of the same type if around each other but about one or two of the high-ends as they do require a lot of preparation to impress on the shop that you can afford the merchandise. LOL I prefer a thorough report. More than that, I feel I am too rushed as I have other tasks as well.
For me 3 and a lunch is perfect, I'll do 4 if in same area...but, that's my limit. I get overwhelmed with more, but remember I'm not as young as you guys. I once did six, and it was much to much!!

edited at add...I do one, go to Coffee Bean and do my report, do another, same thing, saving last one and lunch for home...so, I'm home by 2ish and done before 4.....nice!!

I have my students in the afternoon, so I need to be done shopping by 3, the latest. Since I often have to travel, I have to be careful about how many shops I take. Also, I find I am very ADD. I have to fill out the report right after I do it, at least in pencil. I have tried doing my reports later in the day, but I find once I leave that parking lot, I might as well have not been at the store (or wherever) at all. I drive down the street and fill in my reports as quickly as possible. This sucks up time, so I have to take that into consideration. For me, it is the only way. I have four shops set up for Tuesday. That is probably all I can handle.
3-4 is about all I can do. After that I find there's no room left in my brain for all of the info.
My absolute preference is about 12-18 of the easier gas station shops. Even 20-25 if they are close enough. I prefer gas station shops, they tend to be my "niche." I can get the reports done with my eyes closed half the time, depending on which ones.

I especially love tobacoo/alcohol compliance shops at gas stations. A *breeze* to complete, and reporting is just as easy. But lots of people must not like these, they often are around for awhile...
I always wonder if the problem filling age compliance shops is more because of finding reliable shoppers in the age range and then they soon "age out" and become ineligible.

The number of assignments per day depends on the type of shops. I work full time so I usually sign up for higher paying shops. Those generally require quiet a bit of data entry and detailed narrative. Those reports take an hour or more to do with picture uploads sometimes. After working all day, two shops with input is plenty enough.

On the other hand, my sons do the compliance shops which really easy. They can do a several a day.
My regular schedule is kinda lopsided, so I only get a day and a half a week in which to do shops. By the same token though, I am usually up into the wee hours anyway, so time to do reports is not a problem (unless they are same-day due, before midnight). So in a day and a half, 6 to 8 is about all I can manage. Usually though I can only manage to schedule 5 to 7 in that time frame anyway.

Depends what type of shops. A few days ago I did 8. 2 were phone shops. Very exhausting just from that. I'm good with 3-4. Depending on driving radius. If they are the super easy Intellishop ones, I pick up as many as I can because they are so fast and reports take 5 min each.
I agree 3 and and a lunch is perfect for me. Any more than 5 a day and my reports will suffer in quality, kids will bother me abou dinner MD dog will not ge let out.

5 or more my mind melts. For those of you who do 10 or more a day - I am envious.

7 shops a day would be ideal for me. On average, I do about 2-4 a day. More on a good day. I find that the more shops I complete in a day, the more structured and organized I am in completing them. Less equals too much down time and then I still end up prolonging my report submission :/
I actually had 8 on Monday and it was a perfect day. Out the door at 9 and home by 4:30 with only one video to upload and a 10 minute CORI report to fill out. Six of the jobs I was able to submit through my phone, yippee!

Lisa I cannot figure out how to stop butt-dialing people with my phone, let alone upload a report. Good for you!

For me, I too find 3 is my perfect number. I get started in the morning and am done by afternoon, come home and can still get dinner, than work on the reports.
I could do more and I have since getting started, but decided, I will not overload myself and get burned out, then I hit the wall!

No good for me, or my poor family. ;>winking smiley

I'm sure we all find what works best. I have yet to do anything less than a $25 shop and if I can get 3 a day done 3 days a week, I feel pretty good about that!

My hubby and I are totally self employed and this helps fill in the gaps and provides for our travel acct ;>winking smiley
I like to do 2 or 3 a day. I like to keep it local, too, which is possible since we live in a pretty big place. I like to do school with the kids in the a.m. then begin with the shops about 2:30. My 15 year old babysits when I leave. It's usually only about 2 hours and then I come home to enter reports.

It's not going to pay the rent but it will provide the extras our budget doesn't allow.
The most I did with extensive narratives was 17 in one day which covered retail, lunch, service oriented and banks. I was a writing fool once I got home but had everything done by midnight. (Used to be a reporter and used to crunching under a tight deadline.)

I would like to do one per day, but wind up doing 6 max. I have done as many as 10, but the reports kill you. To do a good report for each company, I think 6 is the max. Most of the evals I do have naratives and are not multiple choice. It takes time to get a 10 and also great notes. Taking on an extra project and degrading your reports is just not worth your overall integrity.
That may be true if you are doing reports with a lot of narrative. I try not to have more than one or two of those in a day and even then prefer the 24 hour turnaround. Quick reports with minimal narrative and I'll take a bunchsmiling smiley

I like to do between 6-8 in an outing. Often I do 10-12. If I hit 13-15 I am exhausted by the end of it all. When doing a lot in one day I prefer to only have 1-2 that are new to me.
