Does Anyone Work with Stericycle?

I know CRI is now part of Stericycle. I have never worked for Stericycle, but I was contacted by them last week and now am scheduled to do some inservice training sessions for drugstore employees (something I used to do in a past career life). Does anyone here work with Stericycle? I didn't find much when I tried searching in recent months. Thanks.

I was contacted through CORI for a job which is considered for Stericycle, but the report, etc. is on the CORI site. It sounds like a decent little job and actually has an hourly pay that is very good.

These sound like jobs I'd love to do too. Are they more of a ' we'll contact you' type job?
I did a tech audit for them last month. It was really easy and I didn't mind a bit getting paid an hourly rate! I would love more of these and told the scheduler so. BTW I don't think these show up on the job board. I think they send out offers via email or call.

On my assignment I met another shopper who took a position as a helper to the tech. I don't know if she is a temp or perm but she got it through the msc and it paid hourly.

But, yeah, if you're offered, jump on it! smiling smiley

I'd recommend applying on their website as a start.

Not sure what you mean? I already signed up with CRI and do assignments. Or do you mean that Stericycle has another separate website with jobs?

My job was exactly the same as hudge95 including meeting another shopper who was working for several weeks as a "helper." I never saw it on the CORI website. The offer came through an e-mail. It was 2 1/2 hours, a lot of it was sitting around waiting and the report took all of 5 minutes. A real plus was that it had to be early morning so I was finished just after 10:30 and had the rest of the day to pick up other jobs.

PizzaPizza: A thousand thanks for posting the Stericycle contractors link. That's the kind of independent contractor work I was looking for! smiling smiley smiling smiley

I recently signed up with them and they require quite a bit of info. I think I had to to print out and sign a bunch of forms, send them copies of drivers license, social security card, and a recent photo. I know how some people freak out about giving their social. That was 2 weeks ago and still have not heard back from them.

Triple Platinum Certified - Shopping South Central Kansas
New survey from them...
my two cents
they are going to an app required on a phone (not stated but sure looks like it)
phone required in the field on our dime to call and do date checks
time stamps in and out of store...
phone required to check in and out with schedulers

makes you think twice on our dime

I think it might depend on their sense of urgency (i.e., if they have a specific job they want to assign to you). And yes, at least for the project I was assigned to, a background check (that they paid for ... unlike some MSCs) was required along with a lot of paperwork and a photo. I received an ID badge from them about a week later.
Stericycle bought CRI in 2011. You log into CRI website and it still explains who Stericycle is and what they do. When I got my 1099 from CRI it said Stericycle. At first I thought it was a mistake. the jobs are still the same as is the 3 day window they use.(Wait as long as possible to schedule shops because the pay goes up - A LOT) Great company to work for and they pay twice a month.

if you dont mind me asking, were are you from? i havent seen much assighnments available for this company just wondering if they have more assighnment available in different states city etc,
sneakergeek23 Since this is your first post, I am guessing you are new to MSing. If so, you will find a lot of companies have tons of shops in one area and little to none in areas. Also, a company may shop a particular client in one region but not in another. Hope this helps. And welcome
sneakergeek: My experience with them is quite limited, but it seems the schedulers email more often than doing general postings.
I do work for them from time to time, lots of shops in my area. And I got that email about the "Helper" work, but was not interested.
I also signed up with Stericycle and received my ID badge a few weeks later. Nothing in my area though, so haven't actually done anything for them yet.
