inside hospitality, anyone?

Hi guys!
Just wondering if anyone knows this company "inside hospitality". I'm looking to do mystery shops for hotels but I don't seem to find the right company...any tips?
Thanks

I am with them although they haven't had shops here. They are listed under Inside hospitality.

They don't do hotel shops, that I know. Their focus is on restaurants. They use the ClientSmart software, which isn't my favorite, but once you get used to it, it goes by quicker. You don't have to number your narrative any longer, which is a good thing. The narrative required is about average with all no answers needing to be explained.

I know Franchise Compliance and Freeman Group both do hotel shops and Coyle, I believe. Can't think of the others offhand, though I've done some for other companies. However, for Franchise and Freeman, you might want to do a search and read up on them first. Last my friend did a hotel shop for Freeman, it took six or seven months to get paid. That sucks because their reports were super easy with minimal narrative so you could really enjoy your stay.

Coyle does some hotel shops and A Closer Look sometimes has one or two. Not sure who else.
Thanks bmac. I wrote Bare but I meant Coyle. I'm not sure if Bare has hotel shops or not. I get shipping service emails mostly.

?? I had to number my narratives, indicated by editor send back - last shop done 3/10/12

I don't know about pay times as I just did my first shop (and probably last) with them. I think the company is solid but small. I want to be fair, and I thought that out of dozens of companies I've done restaurant shops for, this was the most time consuming. It took 3-4 hours to fill out the forms and narratives. Basically, they got an extended phone, bar cash handling, and restaurant shops at a very low price, and no fee (only reimbursement). It required two detailed phone calls, a minimum 30 minutes stay at the bar after dinner, and the forms had twice as many sections as other companies. They also threw more wrenches at you than normal (like trick questions you ask the waiter, special requests, questions that could make you come off as a shopper),

On the plus side, shop turn around time was 24 hours and flexible (as it was listed at 18 hours). It did not require photos. Shop forms were well segmented and had no surprises. I would consider doing it again at > $20-$30 shop fee in addition to reimbursements, and I'd feel GOOD about taking the shop at $30-$40 fee. I know, that's not likely, but hey, this is a two-way bidding auction in some ways. No one should have to write 4 hours for a $60 dinner.

Franchise Compliance has time and money to do hotel shops?!?! Where are they getting the money????????????????????????

Oooooohhhhhhh that's right from the carpet and bathroom shops they aren't paying for. Stay away from Franchise Compliance. :-(
The thing I noticed about Inside Hosp. is that they claim the reimbursement is higher than likely. They have a client near me and list the meal reimbursement as being up to 100 dollars for two people. It's not likely you will spend more than 30 dollars. So I find it a little deceiving.

Evaluating and mailing packages since 1994. I am an undercover connoisseur of customer service, a master of disguise in the aisles, and a sworn enemy of subpar experiences. I blend in, observe, and report—because excellence should never be a mystery.
They are now scheduled by Privite Eyes Scheduling, so you need to sign with them as well. I just applied for a nice restaurant.

I know this is an old thread, but I'll weigh in. I LOVE Inside Hospitality. I do restaurant shops for them. The report is long, but these are upscale places so I expect that. You do have to number the narratives. I find it a little annoying, but once you get used to it it's not bad. Their editor EE is a gem, and everyone there has always been super friendly and polite with me. I love their shops and wish they had more in my area.

I find the pay to be fair on the upscale restaurants. They generally do reimbursement + $10. My first report took probably 2 hours, now I can do them in one.
