?? I had to number my narratives, indicated by editor send back - last shop done 3/10/12
I don't know about pay times as I just did my first shop (and probably last) with them. I think the company is solid but small. I want to be fair, and I thought that out of dozens of companies I've done restaurant shops for, this was the most time consuming. It took 3-4 hours to fill out the forms and narratives. Basically, they got an extended phone, bar cash handling, and restaurant shops at a very low price, and no fee (only reimbursement). It required two detailed phone calls, a minimum 30 minutes stay at the bar after dinner, and the forms had twice as many sections as other companies. They also threw more wrenches at you than normal (like trick questions you ask the waiter, special requests, questions that could make you come off as a shopper),
On the plus side, shop turn around time was 24 hours and flexible (as it was listed at 18 hours). It did not require photos. Shop forms were well segmented and had no surprises. I would consider doing it again at > $20-$30 shop fee in addition to reimbursements, and I'd feel GOOD about taking the shop at $30-$40 fee. I know, that's not likely, but hey, this is a two-way bidding auction in some ways. No one should have to write 4 hours for a $60 dinner.
