Has anyone done (regular) bank shops with Ath Lately?

They had the "customer retention" shops, where if you are a customer, you go in and (try) to close your account.

I did one. (you are only allowed one of those).

Ath is my bread and butter and I pulled in ALOT of banks. But in the last two months, the only bank shops were for *customer retention."

Has anyone done (regular) bank shops with Ath in the last 60 days?

I did regualr deposit or check cashing for Ath about a month ago. I keep getting requests from them to open another account and they are offering big bucks, but how many accounts can you have?
I did phone shops for them around the end of February.

Sincerely,
H.A.R.D. at work
I am completing 8 of them this coming week and have done 10 already. Teller and platform shops.
Ok I'm not familiar with "Ath" what company is that?
Sunny, I'm seeing the same thing - are you in New England? They used to have almost endless platform banks for a bank that had a ton of locations out this way.

They almost never could schedule them all, and the emails would start flying about mid-way through the month.

But, Sunny, you're right...none of that, this month or last month.
Yes I agree. They used to have that Green bank that Regis was spokesman for. I haven't done or seen one for over a month. That bank had the best pens. Gave them away like lollipops. I'm gonna miss them.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
None up my way either. I used to do 40 a month...travelled a bit to do it, but they were worth it. Now the bank they are offering you have to be a customer.
I am finding some good local bank jobs through ATH in MA.

I like the green pens too smiling smiley

Shopping in central MA
Delcal, where are you located? I'm in Springfield.
I am in Holden, nice central location can hit lots of branches without traveling too far, usually try to pick an area and schedule 2 or 3 visits in a trip.

Shopping in central MA
I did over 100 of those for them...had to get new scenarios all the time...nice checks from them too every month...darn.....doing 4 a day....a few times a week.

Now, nothing. It dried up like the Sahara desert....But then again, they may be starting a fresh round.

Another one of my bank busters dried up too....I have had nothing except "bi-lingual" shops, I can speak spanish but not fluently....That was Sinclair...
I did my first shop with ATh earlier this month. It was a competitor thing. All was well and good until I actually did the shop...dun dun dun...I always write down my route and do a last check of the requirements and such before i go out to do my shops for the day. So, this particular day, I had about a dozen shops to do in a close proximity of each other. I get to the locaiton I've got to do for Ath and complete it. Feeling confident and glad that I didn't have to go all awkward on the guy and ask for a business card.

I get home to input the shop and it isn't there. What the hell? Gone. Poof. So email the scheduler and he tells me that she shop was removed. I was like, okay...did I do something wrong and why wasn't I notified that it was removed. I didn't get the normal SASSIE update about the shop being cancelled, yada, yada, yada. SO then he replies back that the client basically overshot the amount of competitor shops they needed and mine was one of the ones that was cancelled. Then he has the audacity to tell me that I received an email about it. I searched for that e-mail high and low, spam and not-spam, under the bed and in the trunk. LOL. No freaking email to be found. I'm done working (or not working) for them. That was a shady thing to do. Even if the client did reneg...at least have the courtesy to really send out the email and let me know so that I don't waste my precious gas and time.

Rant over (and sorry for attenpting to hijack your thread). I haven't seen any of their *regular bank shops, to answer your question. :-)

May I say, that smells "fishy" that he emailed you to alert of the cancellation. I bet a little bit of money, he never emailed you, at all..

Not knocking Ath but "usually" if a client cancels an upcoming shop, you get a day or two notice.
I'm willing to bet the same thing. He didn't email me. The shop definitely wasn't canceled in the days prior either, heck it wasn't even canceled as of that morning. I'm done dealing with them. That was a bad first experience to have with them. If you can't trust the scheduler, then why even bother? :-)
I am just wondering out loud if it would make sense to let the MSPA know about such occurrences. Maybe in the form of a politely worded letter. I am assuming Ath is a member.

Members of the MSPA sign a "pledges" they will pay fairly. This does not seem to be fair by any stretch of the imagination.

Now I am NOT suggesting the MSPA will get this letter and immediately call Ath and tell them to pay you. HOWEVER, if

enough shoppers are sending letters like this, the association MIGHT eventually take notice.

the MSCs might eventually take notice.

I am not saying this is the be all and end all solution to our plight(s) as shoppers (e.g., not getting paid, getting an assignment pulled out from under, etc.) but it might be a start.

Just a thought.

Do they still have bank shops up in Sprngfld?

I used to do lots of them up that way!

Now when I try to sign up for ANY of their shops it says PENDING
On their shop log but I never get the shops!

Does Marie Spinello still work for them?

She was a good scheduler but I tried to e mail her &
Never heard back from her!
I miss their shops. I made a good chunk of change from
Their shops.
Morning! Yes, Marie still works for ATH.

Yes, I've done regular bank shops for Ath lately.

I did a couple of teller shops for them last week.
I did piles of them last year, 60+. They must have either lost their primary client in my area (green/blue) or they changed their shopping program, because they have been non existent this year.
The Regis Bank is back in limited supply in my area for non-customers. Time to stock up on pens...LOL.

There are regular customer and non teller shops here in OH but I am still in rotation limbo.
I have 26 bank shops with them this month-phone, teller, and platform. In WI...But a few months ago it was sparse..
There are several in my area. Bank inquiry, teller, and drive-through. I got a bonus for opening the account on the inquiry shop.
