Helion

Did anyone receive an email to sign up with Helion from June Rader today, or is this a new company...I have not heard of them, and wonder about pay since
the problem with her scheuling job from the other company (I forgot the name),
help me sort this out. Musical jobs, round and round we go, where we stop, knowbody knows......smiling smiley

No but I got an email from Helion last week and assigned myself four nice shops! If you are on Facebook there are several comments about Helion there from the IMSC posters.

I don't anticipate there being a problem with pay. They currently have hundreds of jobs right now and probably reached out to have help with scheduling with this new project. I have totally assigned through their website and all of my contact with Helion has been with their own employees.

Thanks Liz...I just filled out the lenghly application, and see they pay the following month by paypal. This seems like a European company, and very appealing, having a great selection of various jobs. I guess they hired new
schedulers as they are growing.

I must have applied with them years ago as my profile was not up to date and I had to do a zillion things before I could assign those shops so I agree with you on the lengthy application!

I hope this is not their only US project and more comes quickly.

I am not crazy about their available shops page because I can't seem to get it to narrow down any further than all of the US! The search doesn't seem to work for me when I put in town names or zip codes so I hope that improves with time. They are definitely European and some of the written word takes a moment to figure out but overall I have had a very good experience with them so far.

Where are you guys finding the job board? I had signed up with them, however, I apparently didn't fill in all of the profile questions. When I got done doing that, I didn't see anything related to a job board to click on. Thanks.
Liz, my application for the location section had a through map, and showed excatly where I live. I stated a 30 mile radius and will see if it works, but it was exact. They needed your photo and Drivers license, my DL is pending valadation, so, I won't see jobs till that clears. You have to be
100% complete on this application, and it is through, all i's are dotted and t's are crossed. I received a link with my invite to join and sign up. You won't see jobs until your application is accepted and 100% filled out, as I stated. They said Monday is a holiday, so, I should know Tuesday.

If you need 100% completion on the application, then I'm in trouble. The clothing sizes don't go high enough. Though I've lost weight, I'm not yet a 14. I think that's the only thing I'm missing.
The application is beyond lengthy. I looked at it and it wants my driver's license, passport and a photo. I'm not sure I want to provide THAT much info. Have y'all who applied uploaded all the sensitive info?

I didn't see where they asked for a passport which I don't have and a lot of people don't have a passport. It may be more common for folks in Europe to have passports since going from one country to the next is like going from one state to the next.
I just signed up with them as well. Like Irene_LA, my application is pending as well. It looks like it will let you complete the trainings while you are waiting for the applications so I am gonna do that.
It did let me search before I had all my info uploaded but I could not self assign until my ID was verified...and they are closed both Monday and Tuesday so it will be Wednesday before the weekend applicants get their ok to shop.

I just went in and did just put in a radius and got that to work but I also have a condo 1100 miles away and it won't seem to let me use the search box to put in the state or city...well it will let me put them in but I just come back with local (to where I live now) shops.

Yeah I got this thru Palm Scheduling and I am sure that they make money by puting this on their website. I filled out the app. I am not going to send them a photo. If they want me to shop for them they can contact me. As we know, many other fish in the sea, Do not waste your time
I also received the email from Cheryl Durbin at Palm Scheduling. I've signed up and been activated, but the link to upload my photo isn't working right. After browsing to select the photo, the address is immediately replaced with:

C:\fakepath\nameoffile

(where "name of file" is the actual name of the file)

and will not let me correct it with the proper address. Anyone else have this problem?

LUCKY YOU! I uploaded my license early in the US day last Friday and then had to wait til Monday for mine to be verified...it was killing me because I could see these jobs I wanted and couldn't assign them.

Liz
Must we complete all the trainings in order to see available assignments? I completed the first one but there are 3 others, like how to write a report, etc.
HELION

I am having difficulty uploading a photo.

I press upload, but it doesnt allow to "browse" to choose the photo and then upload it.

Is anyone else having this problem ?

Shoppinalong
Didn't have a problem uploading the photo. I have issues with another site and was told it could be the popup blocker. Have you tried opening the site on another browser? That could also be an issue.
I am taking their tests. Got through the first one then had to switch to chrome because of the popup blocker on IE. For some reason, I lost my IE tool bar and can't turn off the popup blocker and it's causing me problems. Had no problem being able to access the tests on chrome.
The new computer jobs that I got ther email for, of which none were posted for me to see, have a 50 year old age minimun. June didn't know that when she recruited members for this assignment. I am now hoping after that signup that
they have jobs I am able to do, otherwise, a huge waste of my time and disappointing to say the least.

I just signed up using Facebook and it did not require my drivers license, SSN or any other form of ID. And the signup process was only two pages long. I don't see what the big fuss is about.

@Lisa: I got the email but didn't do anything with it. Just happened to be in the Forum and saw your post about Helion. Glad I read it because I saw the last post of going through FB to sign up and that's what I'm going to do instead of having to input all the information by going through the link that was in the email.

The sign up process is two pages long, but there are several more screens to fill out to get your profile completed. All in all it was not too daunting. I did everything but my drivers license and was able to see and assign myself shops.

Ok well first if the minimum age is 50 and you are over 50 you are for sure good to go. Second, I am not seeing that requirement (but I could be overlooking it) but most importantly I filled out all the screens, had my driver's license verified and was sent an email by Helion that I could now assign them (last week). I have all ready done two and they have been finalized.

Liz, it sounds like you think they are good to work for then. I got the e-mail from PSS and those usually get a very brief glance before hitting the trash. Glad there was thread started. Some companies have ridiculously easy requirements on sign up and I guess they weed everyone out from there. The companies I've known to have lengthy and involved registration processes often end up as self-assign and have some of the better paying, easiest jobs and reports aroundsmiling smiley It may be their way of separating the wheat from the chaffwinking smiley

Suggestion:

Absolutely do not send a photocopy of your passport.

Meanwhile, has anybody ever used moneyworks or monkeyworks or whatever its called? instead of Paypal? The conversion charges could be pretty heavy. Although if anyone has a CapitolOne card. I dont think they charge at all.
Says could ask to send payment to Capitolone credit card.
My bad, maxium age is 50, everyone older is out for the computer jobs...... I receivTed an email from June saying she just found this out.
