I did a few in early March that were not audits.

How do you register with this company? I went to their website but didn't see anything about mystery shopping or a registration link.

Thanks Liz,
)
how is their pay(good? timely? and their report/survey ?
It was a very easy shop typical of the same shop I do for another company (think printers, ink, computer type shops at Office supply type places). The website tells you exactly when you will get paid. I have not yet gotten paid - my pay date is 5/25.

I got the email to apply and did so. Now I'm at the screening part with all the tests. Seems like a bunch of hoops to jump through. What's the story with mVentix? Do they pay alot better or are their assignments special in some way?
Fair pay, DD like clockwork on the 4th Friday of the month and reports that are primarily checkboxes with only a line or two of narrative.

They also adjust pay depending on your location. There is the shop fee which seems to be consistent and an additional "premium" which is added. I was with another shopper a few days ago when jobs were posted and heard him say a different fee than I was seeing and meant to double check. It really makes perfect sense since he actually lives in a different state with much higher gas prices.

Almost forgot this. On some shops they require a receipt and don't reimburse for a purchase. This is not as bad as it sounds since they will accept either a purchase OR return receipt. I schedule jobs in pairs and pay in cash. I've got 2 for today where I'll buy something and tomorrow will return the items at 2 more shops, LOL! I actually prefer this way to hunting down an item that comes in at a paltry reimbursementsmiling smiley

I had two in my area and did the same thing... purchased at the first then returned the next day at the other.
I do shops for them on a regular basis and they do pay ontime and directly to my bank. I do assignments that involves Staples, Future Shop, Best Buy, Londor Drugs fro them. Easy assignments.
They are a PITA. I had 2 shops today and each took about 20 minutes. The nerve of them to then have me fill out a report with 5 questions! I should have asked for a bonuswinking smiley

How do you sign up for this company? I didn't see anywhere to do that on their website.

This is the one company you mentioned to me at the convention and I am soooo glad I signed up with them! I was so shocked the first time I went out to their job -- very similar to jobs I have done for others -- yet SUCH AN EASY FORM!

I wish they would get some new clients around here. The best they had were actually Christmas before last and required no interaction. It was checking on displays and pricing for one product and I was able to complete the form on site using my phone. They even let me double dip at a big box retailer and just asked I wait about 10 or 20 minutes before the end time of one job and the start of the second. It still came in at maybe an hour and by the time I drove off both reports were finished. Does it get any better than thatsmiling smiley

I will ask again. How do you register with this company? I didn't see anywhere to register on their website.
I originally went through Jobslinger. You can use the link through here to the home page and go to jobs. They call shoppers Market Intelligence Representatives or MIRs.

Lisa -- Went to Jobslinger and it's not listed on their Recruiterator list. Anyone else have an idea how to register with them? Thanks.
Go directly to their site through the link on the list here. It was not easy to find, but when I clicked on "Jobs" it brought up a list and the first thing listed as of yesterday was "Market Intelligence Representative."

Lisa -- I think I looked at their job board but did not know they called shoppers Market Intelligence Representative. Will look again. Thanks.
They are quite different, but most of their differences are quite goodwinking smiley

Found it and found their application a bit odd. Don't have any of the retail or marketing experience they asked about so we'll see what happens. Thanks for the info.
