A compliment for GFK !!!!

Hi all,

I just wanted to compliment GFK for a very fast payment.I completed some jobs
on 5/21 and was paid today 5/25.I hadn't completed any jobs for them in
quite awhile and what a pleasant surprise today when I checked my email.
Great work GFK.I hope they have more work in the future in my area.
I know we all hear the horror stories about slow pay or no pay,it's refreshing
when a MSC really comes through.

I got a quick payment from GFK too. Did a shop on 5/11 and it was paid today, 5/25. I very much appreciate the quick turnaround.

I just picked up my first shop with them. It's a cell phone shop for $12 PLUS a $12 bonus. I hope I am paid as quickly as you guys did.

They do pay quickly! Why can't every one else?

GfK - yes! My shop payment turnaround is typically 10 days.

Bare International and ICCDS are also rapid payers - never more than a month for me.

Caliber, 1 month as well!

I started with GFK years ago. Then they seemed to have disappeared and now they're back, except I can't get past this need to take tests.

QAMS pays twice a mo by check, always. And does not screw around with your reports unless some major problem.I have been advised by a reputable MSC owner that the co's that pay really slow are hanging on to the payroll $ for other operating expenses.I tend to believe this.

GFK, QAMS? What do these mean? Forgive the newbie. I need to go to the newbie section now (blush). I would love to know how to sign up for these two companies that pay so quickly!

GFK is on the "Official list of mystery shopping companies" - the link is on the bottom of every page of this forum. I don't see QAMS there but their URL is just qams.com.

Back again re GFK I just took the cell phone test twice, which I am scheduled for soon and keep missing the same ?. Yes, I have emailed the scheduler, but I am not sure I want to go thru this for every shop? Your experience and advice?

Katherineevans: GFK is the name of a MSC. You can find them on the list of mystery shop companies or just Google them. QUAMS is Quality Assessment Mystery Shops. I have only done one shop for them, very easy car wash company.

they will help with the answers. sometimes the tests are very mysterious. Remember, you only have to take them once.

They have a wings shop that used to be with ACL but now the reimbursement is lower (enough for one) and they want a young man to do them or be with you. Why? It's not Hooters. It's a family place. They still go quickly enough but I miss doing them and haven't taken one since they moved. There aren't any others in my area that really interest me. C'est la vie!

I've enjoyed doing my shops for GfK, and very impressed with how quickly they pay, as compared to some other companies I will not mention.

Angie - I believe the reason they want a young man is because of all the sports that is being shown, which is more likely to be populated by men in the 18-45 demographic. It seems, at least in my area, they want one shop that is open to all, and one that is specific to having the "young" man's perspective, to be able to fill up their restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays during the football season.

I did few shops for them without any bonuses, as I was a newbie. Then I soon realised that the shops I had completed were being offered a bonus of $25+!! They did not give me any bonus though. Now I wait till they offer bonuses, and then take it.(because as someone here said, they do require 2 ppl, if u r female, and u cannot buy much, so first few times I ended up paying out of pocket)

Coming to the point, I am not sure if i can write the names her, but their old scheduler was very nice, and I could get few shops done, but recently this one scheduler keeps sending me emails saying BONUS, and once I say I can do it, I get a reply saying: "someone who doesn't want bonus is doing it"

What the hell then? Why are you sending me emails with BONUS?? This has happened to me few times with same person , and so I decided to share it here.

She also wrote to me that , best way to get a shop is without bonus! Is she paying from her pockets? I did do some when I paid out of my pockets, but I'd like to make some money too!!

This is GFK, so people please be aware, and wait for her to give you bonus, instead of paying out of your pockets!
