A change in ICCDS

hare hare rabbit rabbit bunnybunny, Happy June first almost the second :-)

Received this email today from ICCDS--->"ICCDS is transitioning to a new assignment system (Sassie) effective July 1st. In order to continue shopping with us beyond June 2012, you must sign up by clicking the link below. If you are not a shopper in this new system, you will not have access to ICCDS shops.”

Since I have been with ICCDs, this is the third system I have worked with them through. Although I am not a fan of the SASSIE system, I hope ICCCDs will be able to work with the job board. I do hope they offer to accept Direct deposit as an alternate pay mehod.

I'm not a big fan of Sassie, either. But, I still shop with some other MSCs that use Sassie...although I can't remember which ones right now.

I clicked the link & entered my email & it brought up a blank page & wanted me to enter all of my personal information again. It seems like either ICCDS or Sassie should already have all of that info, so I don't like having to enter it again.

I'll wait until later this month & try it again. I'll sign up because they are the only company that I know of that still shops grocery stores (other than Aldi). In fact, I like the store that they shop very well & ICCDS pays better than Second to None which had the shops before them. It's rare that a fee increases when the required work decreases.

So, I'll enter all of the info again if I have to because I like the grocery shops.
ffrieszell, they are an MSP. Their site is listed on this forum's list of Mystery Shopping Companies.

Sassie will be welcome. Hopefully, ICCDS will use the job board, though they may elect to continue emailing shops. Saving a copy, frame or pdf in Sassie is easy enough. With ICCDS' former reporting platform, saving a copy of my report took some doing.
I really like ICCDS and was happy to hear about the change. Although Sassie would not be my first choice it will be nice to be able to search for jobs.

I have mixed feelings on the Sassie move. Of course the did not ask for my opinion before they made the move LOL! I do a fair amount of shops for them, but they are not my main company.
Some of their shop hunters came from social media outlook. I hope they use the job board more so shops in "our" area can be found before they release on their media sites. MMG had stated b4 they did not have a job board and we could find shops by asking the schedulers in "our" region. but the schdedulers were changed so frequently, one could never know who was assigning shops.

One thing about the jobboard it shows Stately as well as by zipcode. Hopefully I can find now other than screwdrivers and winter jackets shops. I hope the pay cycle stays the same. The survey was short questions with little narrative and payment was right on time (2 weeks to 1 month).
Just interested I prefer Sassie to almost anything, i.e. the one that MCP and Ace use, cannot remember the name, but I iind it annoying. You have to go back and forth forever. Anyway tell me what you donot like about Sassie.

Cyn, that's the Shopmetrics platform. Curious, back and forth forever with what? Not the reports as there's only one page no matter how long the report. I haven't had to go back and forth to look at job offers and they offer a drop down menu so you can search not just by distance but by client, too. That's a great tool for phone shops! So I'm being nosy since Shopmetrics is my favorite platform. winking smiley

I don't dislike SASSIE but I do dislike the Kern connection since she married John Hsu. I don't trust her having potential access to all the information for each of the companies. Other than that, it's an acceptable platform but I prefer Shopmetrics the best, even from a shopper's standpoint.

By the way, I got the same ICCDS email but when I went to register, I was already registered. It came up as another company name I'd saved it as, though I can't remember what I had it saved as since I changed it. The old platform was acceptable as long as I didn't want to check other states. Any available jobs within my mileage range showed up on my home page.

This will make it easier to accept or decline shops instead of the one way at atime we used to have to do.And now we can review shops out of our area instead of getting only shops geographically assigned to us. Never had a problem with ICCDS, always pay and use Paypal. No concerns or issues EVER with ICCDS.
I have been with them forever. Never had an issue with reports or payments. I haven't done a lot of shops for them lately as they are always the same and I'm just bored. They also rarely bonus so you have to want to do the same shop for the same fee over and over.
So glad to hear everyone is aware of our new transition over to Sassie. As you are currently a shopper with ICCDS, but not with ICCDS in the Sassie system, you will need to sign up under "New Shopper?" when you get to the Sassie site.

We will be using the job board as well, so hopefully that will provide more oportunites for everyone. Please contact me if you have any questions, I am happy to assist - lbotsolas@iccds.com.

I look forward to the sassie change as I'll be able to save my report, instead of having to do it all at one time. No "save" in their old site.

I always liked your inhouse method, however, Sassie works for me. Iam in Toledo and have not seen much for ever w/ grocery M. Can you give me a hint about what might be going on? I am only seeing shops that are out of my area in OH. This has been a mainstay for me and just anticipating what I might see in the future. Thanks, you can PM me
I don't mind the switch to Sassie and like being able to look at shops across the country. However, one of the things that's good about your system now is the flexibility to change the date, within a certain range. That's my only concern.
You are correct. In the new system, you do not have the access to change the date, so it is important that you plan your shop date on a day that fits into your schedule. If an emergency situation does arise, you can always feel free to contact your field coordinator who can assist you in changing the date!

It might not be a trade off. The current ICCDS system forces you to choose a single date which you then can change later. If the Sassie system is used correctly then it will instead provide a date range. As long as we can shop in the range no need to to contact schedulers and make changessmiling smiley Combine that with having the report on a single page and the option to save and we have a winner. I'm on a route for them Wednesday and it's killing me the jobs are still in the old system. On Sassie it would allow me to fill out check boxes immediately and make quick notes on the form for any narrative. The result would be less than an hour to finalize all of them. Now I'm planning on a good 30 minutes per which will be 3 plus hourssad smiley Oh well, I may make this run again in August!

If the system is utilized in the way Lisa depicted, with a range, that's fine. Another company who recently switched to Sassie isn't using it that way.
Yes and that company has done several things to make the system more difficult than it has to be. Keeping with a pattern started with their own systems. So goes the nature of that beastwinking smiley

Angie:
I was probably not being clear. What the prob I often have with Shopmetrics is not the job search, although I prefer the Sassie method, but it is sometimes unclear, i.e. cell shops, which require comments and which do not. And it does not take you back to the error usually. Then goes through the whole spell check thing again. I do think it could be streamlined and made more user friendly. (Like I would know how to do that (smiling smiley
I for one, am happy of the change. I frequently go to Central New Jersey from Philadelphia to see my family. The current system only sends me Philly area shops. Now, when I plan a visit, I can search by zip code and distance to find shops when I go there. My family is used to me stopping here and there for a shop or two when I am up there. ICCDS has always been one of my favorites. I have worked for them since I started a few years back.
This is the ALERT on the old website:---->Attention Shoppers: We would like to clarify any confusion regarding the ICCDS transition to Sassie. Not all clients will be transitioned over as of July 1st. Any July shops that are currently appearing on your ICCDS Field Rep Homepage are still to be completed in our current system at www.iccds.com/fieldrep. Only shops which you specifically signed up for in Sassie that show on your Sassie Shop Log are to be completed in the new Sassie system at www.sassieshop.com/2storeinsite.

Now the reason for the new system is ------ W H A T ?????????

I haven't found any shops in the Sassie system yet. I keep picking them up through there old system. I wonder how long they will be running two (2) systems? (I know other companies do it.)

As along as they don't get anything mixed up, I'm all for it.
Service Intelligence runs two system. I picked up a shop @ ICCDS' sassie system. I don't like have to check two systems per msc to look for jobs.

Goodwin and Associates also run two systems. I find it more convenient signing up for email notifications rather than searching for shops on two systems.
As of right now, we are slowly transitioning over to Sassie. We will be putting new clients in that system throughout the summer. We appreciate your patience with the process as we want to ensure everything is running smoothly. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your field coordinator.

Thank you!

Thanks for the clarification Lauren.

My scheduler emails me about shops in my area all the time. Not only that; I would like to take this opportunity to say that I have the greatest respect for Sarah cos she goes the extra mile to accomodate a shopper's schedule.

So I can't complain that I am missing out on any shops, whether you run one or mutliple platforms!
I am glad they switched to Sassie. A lot of times I wanted to perform jobs out of my normal area and the old ICCDS did not let you search other areas.

A question though: I logged onto the new Sassie and it states there are zero jobs for the entire state of Ohio. This can't be right. ???
As of right now, there are only 2 clients in the system, so it is possible that the clients aren't located in Ohio, or someone may have picked up the jobs there already. More clients will be put in later this month and continue to be added next month smiling smiley

Glad you are happy with the switch! We are excited about it too!

I am THRILLED ICCDS has switched to SASSIE - which is far more 'user friendly' than their previous system. One feature I really like about SASSIE is the MS Company can actually reference when the shop is paid, directly on my shop log. When I worked for a MS company - as an editor and in the sales division, this feature was sold as a direct benefit - to both the client and the shopper.

No problems w/ICCDS, just LOATHED their previous system.
