Gapbuster Outsourcing as well?

How many of you have received emails/calls from GapBuster that you cannot make head or tail what they're talking about due to their heavy accent? I tell you its so frustrating when I m trying to figure out an email and all you see are spelling and GRAMMAR mistakes....shouldn't a scheduler be able to conjugate a proper sentence in the correct tense at least????

Yes! I usually just ask them to repeat and repeat until I do understand. It's difficult if they're low talkers~

Also,I've noticed with their emails, that they're just omitting words.

Ummmm...they're not outsourcing...the COMPANY itself is not from the U.S. I myself kinda like the Aussie accents I get to hear!
I agree, I love their accents. They are British and Australian.

Same for the gentleman that contacted me. It was very hard to understand what he was saying.

The gentleman who calls me from Aussie Land, has a CLEAR British accent and I have no problem communicating with him. But I received emails with one grammar mistake after another , and calls from a female with a very heavy non-familiar accent that made communication almost impossible between us.
I have a Gapbuster question for you guys. I just recently signed up with them and did two shops. I have since tried to sign up for more and the site says I have reached my maximum and won't let me sign up. I have e-mailed to ask why twice with no response. Does anyone know if this is a policy for new shoppers?
Kathie - you were only able to perform 2 shops for GB?

Weird. I signed in on Sunday night and was able to pick up 5 of the 6 available locations right away. (Someone else nabbed #6) I had been signed up with them since last November I believe, but they never had any shops in my area.

Initially when I signed up for GB, I also could apply for just two shops a month (of the same kind ; part of the program they launched in Feb/March) Now, however they offer me more, according to their neccessity. Sometimes they are reaching deadlines and in that case they do offer me as many as I can take, and with bonuses.
They also have offices in Asia.

Thanks sportofficial! That is the only shops listed here so I guess that is the issue. I guess I will have to wait patiently. Too bad I took shops early they are worth much more now!
I just got a call tonight and he had a very thick Indian accent, but lucky for me, I used to transcribe the doctors I worked for and now have an ear for it. Although at first I thought he was calling from "Crastinater"...

He asked if I would like to do some work for them and I told him I have never heard of them. Then he told me I had signed up with them under my name, and so I had him repeat where he was from and found out it was GapBuster. He had a good giggle out of it and offered bonuses and mileage for both of the shops. My first for them.
Question. I have not worked with Gapbuster. I thought that I had read they were not paying shoppers. Does anyone know the status of payment timing with this company?
I read about some issues and had one myself. In April my payment was missing two shops from March. They made it good the following month. It seems the issues have been relatively few. It is rare to find a company that doesn't make an error on your pay at some point.

When I get a call from gap buster they are usually speaking the language I am interested in and that's bonus money!
I do not expect much of them...we all have a right to make a living...but please make sure that when you give me an overseas phone call, you are able to COMMUNICATE in ENGLISH. Don't just "Die Away" halfway thru your sentence, because you are mentally fumbling for your vocabulary!
I'm having issues with GB and trying to get paid for two closed cell phone locations I did in March and April. One was heavily bonused and I was assured I would be paid, but nothing yet. I've emailed every "inquiry" address I could find, so I hope someone calls me soon....Andrew are you there???

MsJudi,

A shop performed in March is a little delayed payment for Gap. Why dont you email Andrew George directly? He seems like a gentleman who knows what he is doing. He always replies with detailed emails whatever my query is. And he is normally ways quicker to respond than the Website Help Desk team.

Before you email him check the particular shop's status on your completed assignment's page. If it shows as "Rejected/Cancelled", it might be a little harder to get coverage for it. But I would still email Andrew. Good luck!

Just started working with GapBuster myself. I had tried to schedule online with them before but was never able. They called me out of the blue the other day and asked me to do a havily bonused job which I gladly accepted. I now have two more scheduled for tomorrow with even higher bonuses.

I actually liked both schedulers I spoke with, one was from Italy and one was very obviously British. So long as there are no issues with payment I would very gladly work with them again in the future. Easy reports and good pay. THeir website is a bit confusing but if that's the least of the worries with them then they may turn out to be my favorite company yet.
Question: I did two shops back in April. Both shops, according to the email I received, would be bonused. Two shops, $68.00. I completed both. I received one payment from GapBuster for $34.00. I have since sent several emails, (5 or 6) and have had no response to any, including from the person who both called and emailed me asking me to accept both the jobs. Any suggestions? Any help appreciated, thanks.
