Is service-smart.com legit?

I don't have the exact link anymore, but I responded to a job from Shadow Shopper that is for the following company. You cannot log into their website or view your shops or anything like that. I accepted a couple shops via email but am now finding it rather strange that you are supposed to fill in a PDF and email it back - and the email is to some generic internet company somewhere. Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks!

So I just Googled it... and it's got an F from the Better Business Bureau! Thinking I should NOT do these shops!

According to their home page clients can get the sites "shopped" for as little as $20. There would be very little left for the shopper at those prices.

I did shops for this company over the last few years.

Perks- You get a large route, which can be done in two days.

Problems- Once you stop shopping, it takes forever to get paid your final month. And I mean 10+ months later.

Also, the shop pay has dramatically been cut in almost half...

Were you getting paid on time while active? What types of shops do they offer? What is the average pay?

While active I was more or less getting paid on time.

Usually as long as they knew you were doing another round they would pay when they said they would.

Pay was pretty low on the last few rounds. It was $250 for 30 locations. All required an alcoholic beverage purchase, which was NOT reimbursed.

HOWEVER, if already are completing them, it could be worth it. The reports are super easy. Literally no narrative, with drop down answers.

I completed this project probably 20 times; and then did some other types of evaluations for them for different places in different states.

LISASTL- Where do you shop?

Less than $9 per shop and a rather expensive purchase not reimbursed? Doesn't sound good. I had the pay situation when it took scheduling another round of shops before they would pay me for the first. Needless to say, that relationships was short-lived.

I shop in STL of course. Actually, I have traveled all over the Midwest for route shopping, but stick primarily to St. Louis and the outlying areas.
