Cori Again!

The newest thing with CORI and their yellow and blue gas jobs. I have had two jobs put into operator error. I followed their instructions fully. They have said to take the pumps straight on from across the street. The first one got cancelled because there was a tree blocking their sight. I can give them that one. There is a tree, and the pumps can be seen on either side of it, but it is kind of blocking their full view.

Now the newest one, there was a truck getting gas, and now they say they do not have full sight of the store front. This is their statement: I looked at the shop and I see the store is not clearly visible in the overall exterior photo. Because there was a truck getting gas, that's why.

So now, I guess they want us to sit and wait until no one is getting gas so they can fully see the store.

Just venting, as usual, with CORI.

ARRRGH.

yes they want you too. No different then with the other gas company they do and wanting you to wait to take a picture of every pump...

@ceil01 Completely understand your feelings on CORI. I've been shopping with them for 6 years now and saw one of their clients yesterday post a requirement that says "Shop must be reported within 6 hours of completion." So if I did the shop at 9 am, I had until 3 PM to report it? How absurd. Looks like I have to adjust any sort of route to get this shop reported.

Although I have a laptop and wifi mobile hot spot, I'm just not going to do this. So for the shoppers in my area, feel free to take this CORI client (I'm not).
Almost all of the CORI shops I do say they are supposed to be in within 6 hours. The times I have gotten that in during that time frame have been a fluke. It just doesn't happen.
I hardly ever get them done in six hours. I do them in the morning before work, and sometimes I get them in on my lunch break, but alot of times it is not until I get home from my real job that I can get on the computer to input them.

I agree with the person who was talking about the gas stations where you have to take each pump, and have to wait until no one is there.

It is almost the same thing.

Only thing is, I don't do those gas stations for just that one reason. If it is a busy station, it is almost impossible.

There is nothing than can be done about a tree blocking the view. I just did another one today with a tree, and I am wondering if they will say it is blocking their sight of the store windows.
If there is a tree blocking the view, take more then one picture. There is plenty of room to upload additional pictures on all their gas shops.

Also the 6 hour deadline is all fluff. You have much longer before shop falls off. It's not like they even look at the report for several days after you enter it anyway.

I do shops for them and sometimes submit them the next morning. I try to do it them immediately I get home. I love working for them too...especially Teresa Calvage (sp?).
Hey, I just submitted a shop and about 15 minutes later I got the feedback. CORI editors work at all hours, I guess.
I have noticed that too! Granted, sometimes it takes a day or two, but I have had shops scored within a few hours several times.

Good luck with that one. I called the corporate office when I first started working with them and unless you know someone's direct extension your SOL. Cori is a good company to work for (especially the Gate stations) and I love working with Theresa Calvage. She is so easy to deal with unlike some of the other schedulers there. ewalsh Wrote:
